Dutch midfielder Giovanni van Bronckhorst has signed a 5-year contract with Arsenal. 26-year-old van Bronckhorst, who is leaving Glasgow Rangers, said:

"I'm delighted to have signed for Arsenal. The fact is, Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and at this stage of my career it is a step forward."
