I have been discussing a belgian players name with a friend of mine and we can't remember his last name. He plays in Antwerpen, is dark and very tall and hurt his leg some years ago. Now plays in the second league or something. Anyone knows who I am talking about?

Does he still play in Antwerpen?
Because both Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen (GBA) and RFC Antwerp play in the belgian first division (=english premier league).
What's his nationality and on wich position does he play?

when following your description i've found a guy with the name Dave Van Waes. He currently plays for Hekelgem (in the belgian second division), he's 1m 85 and 25-years old. The only difference is he's not black and i'm not sure he used to play for a team in Antwerpen. But to be honest i've never heard of these guy before. Sorry, this the closed i could find with the desription you gave me, i hope it helped... :p

Oops, sorry - he isn't black... I meant dark haired (I am swedish - I guess my expressions are local..). He is around 1.95 if I am not mistaken. Why? Well, I'd like to send something to him and I just can't remember the name. Wow - this is getting interesting. :-)
