The idea that are behind his words is great: more attacking and attractive footbal. I would go for a bonuspoint if more than 3 goals are scored (only one point). SO if you pleay a draw 4-4 both teams would get 2 points. This would not happen often and will not alter the game that big, but it could start changing things in the good direction.

It's a dumb idea. Football is great sport itself the way it is. Too many additions and ideas and it might get screwed up, so, naw.

The idea it's not that bad but why Football Rules should change in order to improve the goal scoring rating, i mean football it not only the goals, it's passion, strategy and more. So don't screw it with silly rules

yes, but the whole idea of having 3 pts for the win is to make teams play for the win instead of the draw.

yeah, with 2 points a win even more teams would close up, because trying to win would be "too risky". it would make the league alot closer on points tho.

Well, we're back to playing the whole 30 mins in extra time, so who knows... they might change the offside rule back to needing to be behind 3 players instead of 2 next.

With Blatter in charge, anything could happen. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone proposed scoring from outside de area being worth double, or suggesting we get rid of goalkeepers to entice attacking play soon. :rolleyes:

Wenger is such a prick. He won't be happy until the EPL starts issuing a 50-point "Being Arsenal" bonus with 10 extra points for "Manager with the best hair." He doesn't care about attacking football. All he cares about is winning the title again, and he doesn't care how many rule changes or embarrassing statements it takes.

If I were an Arsenal player I'd be ashamed to have him as my manager.
