hi guys, I was just wondering who u guys thought was the best center back in the world. I dont know anymore! I thought once Jaap Stam but apparently hes rubbish now.U can name more than one. Infact why not do your top 5 center backs! :D :D ;)

2)Ayala - Valencia
3)Naybet - Deportivo
4)Brown - Man.utd
5)Hyypia - Liverpool

I think that Nesta and Cannavaro are in the upper echelon of Central Defenders, no one else is even close. Is it really any wonder the Italian national team never concedes a goal?

Wes Brown is good but i admit not one of the best yet. I swap him for Marcel Desailly. :D

I think that Cafu and Thuram are the two best in this position with no one comming close. Of course Willy Sagnol is #3 though ;)

Thuram is for sure and I have to ask why you would pick Gary Neville.
Just because he plays for Man U doesn't automatically mean he's one of the top 5 right backs in the world.
