FIFA 06 !

I cant get the game to pause when playing in the online matchup games.

it says in the manual that the "esc key" pause's the game but it dont with mines and ive noticed the chat in the online rooms that other people are having this same problem too.

Ive tried all the keys on the keyboard and none work !

Its very frustrating as you cant make subs etc during a game.

has anyone else got this problem or know a fix for it ??

Didn't there used to be a shortcut key, such as F1 for a home sub?

Your correct. And at half time it goes straight to 2nd half not management.
Also I cannot switch kits home/away. Untested final product again.

You should do like i done mate and report it to ea, if we dont all report things then nothing will ever get done about it :(

If you are using a saitek p2500 gamepad and you play online multiplayer matchup games you will see that you probably cant pause the game to make subs etc no matter what you try, the analog sticks on the pad should pause it "BUT DONT" and the esc key should pause it "BUT DONT", this problem seems to only occur when playing the online games.

Can anyone who is experiencing this problem please post a quick message in here saying so and I will forward the whole link to EA.

You can definitely change kits on the PC. Look at the bottom of the page in Manager Mode before a game, the options will pop up.

Thanks for your input Lior, but iam not refering to "manager mode", iam refering to "online matchup games", thanks anyway mate. (see above).

You can change kits and manage the team and half time goes to management in single player. Play online you dont get any of all that.

Iam using a saitek p2500 gamepad and I cant get the game to pause when playing in the online matchup games.

Why is it off topic? Its not your joystick, its been overlooked by testers and as I have mentioned it is one of several things you cannot access when you go online in FIFA 06! Do you really think we need a new thread?

Ive just sussed this out, you dont even need to bother about the "esc key", although its still an issue that EA are looking into.

The way to pause the game when using a saitek p2500 joypad is to press the the left analog in, not move it up or down etc, actually press it in like a button, it operates as a switch when you push it in.

So thats it, thats how you pause the game using a P2500 joypad, know ya all know.

Ok now I have the pad working 95% properley ive noticed that I cant use my right analog stick, so has anyone got a fix for that ????

You need the right analog stick to make changes to team mentality etc.
