well I hope EA will release a patch since there are serious issues with the game atm, no tjust for the pc version but for consoles aswell. The wireless devices bug was something that they knew from the demo and didnt fix it, another horrible thing is the control configuration. Who the hell made the decision of not having profiles saved ?

Goals that are not goals and viceversa is another issue to solve. And the transfers needs some touchs, it cant be that after you get to manage Fc Barcelona you see that Ronal is not there aswell as some others and instead you get medium quality players.

If you have something to add please tell it here so EA can do something righ and make a patch.

Not a bug, but something annoying is the incomplete rosters and missing players, be sure to tell that to EA too as customers, the database editors already did on the official EA forums, but it would have a greater impact if paying customers would voice this also, if they plan to release a patch it would be easy to add up to date rosters in it since the database should now be accurate, even including the latest loans (after closing of the transfer market)

Well heres a couple.

I scored a goal, the ball is lying in the bottom of the net. 3 seconds later, the net kicked the ball out again. Bizarre.

Also had clear goal not register, went in clean and sweet, and no it wasnt pulled up for a foul or offside.....

I was playing as Fulham. had a few bad matches, but was in around 2nd-3rd place of the league. was beginning to get a little bit of a debt, but it was clearing up, had about -500 in the finances. all of a sudden after winning a match 3-1 I get sacked. reason for this was bad results. :S Now that's messed up

Worst of all (don't know if it happens to everyone) they almost never work... not bugs but not good fifa refs in premiership games ?? seems only two refs in game ??players dont jump at corners and same players score no defenders ?? same goals seem to happen ?? no time on ball at alll?? too many offsides from through balls when you finally do get it through i could go on

if you use search you will find many players avible for loan,to buy etc...but its very hard to sign them!

when i chip it down the filed sometimes it turns to black and white for a few seconds.

I finished the league in 2nd place, yet the players celebrated winning the title and a caption came up saying I am the FA Premier League champions. Another bug I spotted is that when I played a game in the league against Everton, all the players were invisible and the ball was flying around on it's own.

By the way, what's the point in putting international teams in if you can't even do a World Cup or Euro championships with them, oh I know because EA wants you to buy Road to World cup, pathetic money grabbing bastards. :sb9:

1) No way to get the ball back without use A, that means sliding tackle, wich is very unrealistic most of the recovered balls are because a player loose it or you USE THE BODY to "block and steal the ball"

2) DO you guys know what it is a counter attack ? I mean I recover the ball in the midfield and I have to wait because my player are just stading in the middle of just walking, man once you get the ball all the attackers and the midfielders should RUN with you.

3) Very annoying. There is no one most of the time to get the rejected balls from the goal area. I mean if you shoot and the ball hits the post there should be someone in the goal area to finish the job. I know its not effective all the time, but all teams play like this (usually there is a second attacker or a semi attacker waiting for the reject -just in case....-). BUT in this game THERE IS NO ONE IN THE GOAL AREA !!! same happens if someone heads the ball just outside the box, no one is there.

well jaun thats e a for ya they employ people who dont know how to play football . your 3 points are spot on heres a few others .


1.... when taking corners notice its the same player that scores 80 % of the time
2.... whats with the sliding shots i crossed for henry to tap in but no he slides this also happened when gilberto was on the edge of the box
3..... when you drop the ball from the goal keeper instead of the players going away from you the turn and run straight back to virtually the goal line

2) Activate Counter Attack ingame strategy, then they'll run with you. Though they tend to stop right before the box or change direction strangely.

3) Activate Box Overload strategy, with this selected I always have about 5 players in or around the box and the others right behind them. Also when you change to attacking style they'll push up even more.

so why cant we put defenders in on corners ??? this ai is supposed to be the best ever so why when im hammering a team dont they tackticaly make subs to strengthen the side ?? they dont even build up play the shot from miles out all the time ??

MAJOR problems:

Goalkeepers still suck. They are so useless, on hard shots from an angle they punch it in the air, resulting in it floating in the goal anyway. On 1-v-1s they stand there and dont even dive, pretty much allowing you to walk right in the goal. Blah

A lot of glitches, bugs. I scored, and it didnt count. I shot it and it went in the net and the commentator said "ohhh nice try" WTF this game isnt suppost to do that. And also, I was playing vs my friend and he dribbled and pushed 3 of my defenders along with him, like the defenders froze and they were gliding along the pitch. ???????? Also there was a time frame of 10 seconds where no one could touch the ball, you would just go through it and not dribble.

What the hell, this game isnt suppost to be this way right? Is it just my game or what? And by the way its easy as hell to score now on world class, certain shots that you can do consistently can't be saved by the goalie, ever.

latest editions to my fifa experiences:

the ball decided to be invisible for half the game.

the ball went through the goal, counted, but went throught the net.

Also, shot it well wide, counted as a goal.

When I shot the shoot,The keeper caught the ball.But the keeper was definitely ling behind goal line and It was no goal :eek: !!! Did you find it ?

I dont use sliding tackle either (but this game leaves no option) you have no way to take the ball away unles the CPU player runs and hits the ball in you. Wich is SOOOOO unrealistic because normally to take the ball away from a player you use your BODY you dont wait for the player to hit you the ball.

And we have no way to do that in this game, we only have sliding tackle or wait for the player to hit the ball in your feet.

this bug is annoying! everytime i finished a game, i couldn't continue. my only option is to rematch. other than rematch, fifa 06 would just hang my pc!
what's the point of playing then?
i can't play any tournaments or leagues or enjoy the managerial part of the game at all!!!
the other choice is to play the game without any sound as mentioned in the above link... so what's the use of having all the commentaries?

btw, i am using creative sound blaster live (not ac 97), which is quite old already...

playing against the classic team my 1st half lasted 10 seconds total, it was supposed to last 4 minutes...

When I subbed two of my players, it showed on the screen that I had made one sub and I subbed my keeper with the same keeper... IN: Fabio Costa Out: Frabio Costa (huh??) I was subbing Mascherano with Carlos Alberto for Corinthians... and I had subbed two others I don't remember...

Well I have XFX Executioner Dual Vibration Game Pad, it always worked with all games, including previous Fifa's but now I can't get my right joystick to work, and that is a big handicap when playing because of special moves.

I dont agree with your complaints over the tackling and I very, very rarely if ever use slide tackle. I shepherd the player and use call 2nd defender to help. With the player I control I try to cover any passes the CPU can make then eventually the CPU makes a bad pass or by timing I can make a good tackle with the C button, but it takes time patience and cleverness. Only thing is sometimes CPU recovers instantly and takes the ball back and is away in one movement while it takes eternity for my player to recover. But they dont need to change the tackling much, it is almost OK.

Eurique, I think wonder if the problem is your system not the game. Check your sound and video drivers.

There are serious errors that need fixing though. I had a wide ball declared as a goal for me yesterday. 1st time I have seen it. Cant change kits if you play online either, those are the 2 I have seen.

1)CPU performs no subs during any game. Also, it never alter the starting line up because of fatigue issues. During season, CPU team barely can run on the field.

Another problem Keeper never charges to long balls which looks really stupid. I just don't get it how come testers don't find these bugs. Or They find so many that they can not fix it all on time.

i don't have any patch installed, and i tried to copy all the zdata files from the original disk to the fifa 06 directory, but it didn't help...

"Nooo why should they?". Suckers. In the Uefa CL game it was perfect. Many cpu subs and good cpu tactics. When they were down with a goal in the end of the matches, they changed tactics and took out a defender and bringed on a striker. That´s how It should work. Why did they change this? It´s incredible.

And another thing is about the refs. I really like the idea with real refs, with names. But, then you have to make some more refs, guys..now there´s only two refs... It´s not very realistic with Meier as a ref 12 games in a row, then Nielsen for 4 games and then Meier again and... It´s so stupid. And when i play in, for example, the Swedish league or the Premier Leauge, I don´t want Urs Meier as a ref.

1. This CPU keeper charging problem also annoys me very much.

2. Subbing problem can be solved like in FIFA 2005, you make a locale.ini file, and then write the command in to make the CPU changes available.

This is the worst bug I've seen in the game... :nape: that never happened with WC '98, but after all the advancements made in the game it's happening now... (sigh)

another thing is that players keep the ball in their feet to much... football is about passing a opening the field not to keep the ball in your feet all the time, there are special cases and special ocasions but in this game is a constant. And this make easier to make a counter attack and score when you get the ball.

Also I dont know why the players get the ball then runs back to their part of the field just to shoot the ball away to a side or to a corner. Very unrealistic.

I have seen this in all difficulty levels.

Can't say I've come across the problem with non'goals being counted yet, my biggest gripe is that for some reason taking when I'm a direct free kick controlling it with my keyboard the shift button has no effect so i can't put any bloody curl on the ball. I've ended up having to play dinky little pass free kick from just outside the box!!!

OK this is weird. I was playing in visual sim, went to play a few minutes game ends and I was loosing but in the Resume after the game there was a tie.
Also I havent played the final in my domestic cup but the game told that I won it... and I got the plus from the SPonsor.

ALSO I was playing and in April the transfer season was open ! In Spanish league there is no such a thing !

During the summer while they were developing the game Beckham did actually have brown hair, they guy changes his hair every week so it's no surprise that it's out of date at some stage.

EA make a game that is not so enjoyable as iy shuold be, these are the reasons
1)Transfers are hard and most of the tine you have to pay almos the double to get a player you want.
2)Nationals Teams? For what you don't need them you don't use them, so why to put it, why not instead put another league or more rest of the world teams
3)Many Game Bugs, goals that are not goals, invisible players, etc.
4)Many players are missing from the game
Hugo Viana,Adrian Mutu,Karagounis,Bothroyd,John Ruddy (3th Goalkepper from Everton),Rockemback, and many others
5)Some stats makes me upset,Example: Joe Cole.Cole win the Premier League, FA Cup, Community Shield and Carlays Cup with Chelsea last year, he's in the starting eleven of England National Team, important part of Engalnd Midfield, and he gets 76!
6) Two Referees in the game, why not use the generic one instead why spend disc memory in putting two referees
7) I'm from Mexico and i have the GC version, the game is only in Spanish, that's not the worse part, the commentators say all the names from the Mexican League, but EA ask us i we wanted the game in spanish, no!,they only put it because they want it
8) There are more complains, but i dont want to continue
