Nice result for the Toon, in the Tees-Tyne derby, as Shearer was in the starting 11 for the first time in 6 months
They had to get a win really to get their season going after two 1-1 draws v Chelsea and Sunderland.
And they won with some style sending Boro to the bottom of the table.
Even though they went 1-0 down Newcastle got back in the game thanks to Shearer's pen.
Then Given saved a pen from Greening
Newcastle scored 2 in 2 minutes in the 2nd half thanks to Dabizas and Laurent Robert's first for the club

then Shearer rounded it all off to make it 4-1 with his second of the game

The ref at Dons vs Pompy was Dermot Gallicher, and he has to be the worst ref i have ever seen. He sent of their player and then just before the player got to the tunnel, he said that he wasn't going to send him off?!?!

Man Wimbledon drew with Portsmouth, after going 3-0 ahead with 30 mins left......

I so badly wanted to rip up my season ticket..........
