Thanks England for beating those pompous German players, first Liverpool against Bayern and now a football lesson on their own turf...?! Wonderfully done and congratulations to Owen with a hattrick.

To see England trash Germany made my day after the game that Holland played against Ireland this afternoon. No WC 2002 for Holland next year, it's a fact and a shame but that's football for you. Let's hope England finishes first in their pool, they deserve it!

England played very well as a team but I must say, the German defending was so bad even a pub team would have done better.
The game was very entertaining because alot of errors were being made and it really was end-to-end stuff, good game! :)

Nice to see Germany get whooped. :D

What a surprise result..
It was a dissapointment to me though although I carry a British passport I wanted to see them loose so that Finland could reach the second spot in the group and have a chance to reach the cup. Finland beat Albania away 0-2 yesterday which brought us up to third position ahead of Greece and Albania.

5. Albania

But having said that, England NEED to win on Wednesday, otherwise this result will count for nothing!

I bet now that England have one, the media will buuild them up loads like they did for the last World Cup and Euro Champianships, and then England will go and lose to Albania and the media will call for Ericksons head.

And I`ll bet scotland make it to the World Cup because of another teams misfortune and then when they get there go

Well I am half Scottish, half English so i am happy one of my teams got through. If you are wondering why I have the Scottish flag and not the english one it is because ythe scottish one looks better :P.

This will be the first time since the 70's that Scotland will not have made it to the World Cup, which is a pity.
