I've waited a long, long time to see this day... England's finest hour and a half - and then some. A thoroughly masterfull performance by the whole squad. Commander Becks showed true brilliance and leadership - makes you wonder if the injury and the Dutch game were all part of an Eriksson mind ****.

The only sad part of this glorious day was the departure prior to the game of Brian Moore [ITV's footie commentator for many a year]. I can only imagine him calling the shots from above - must have been some view.
