Well, the Career Mode thread was a hit for 2005, so why not have a Manager Mode thread for 2006? Post your triumphs, downfalls, and everything else related to your own Manager Mode.

But in FIFA 2005, wasn't that a form of cheating? Anyway, I haven't got 06 yet, but I am guessing it's related to the contracts?

Okay, the purpose of this thread was to share your experience in Manager Mode, not to ask about editing data.

I'm in my first season, as the manager of Boavista in Portugal. Currently, Boavista are in 3rd place, with 40 points from 22 games (11-7-4). Benfica have run away with the title, with 65 points, with an impressive 21-2-0 record, and with 65 goals scored, and 10 goals conceded. Boavista have conceded 15, and scored 25.

Benfica (65)
Sporting Lisbon (45)
Boavista (40)
Belenenses (38)
Porto (36)
Maritimo (36)

may as well get started myself, the usual thing as i did last year, trying to get some time but its hard with balancing school with it anyway i started my career with Oldham Athletic and its around november, i cant remember i played last saturday and right now its october and my team is currently 17th, i have been trying to experiment with different formations and the best one that makes my team function properly is the AC milan style tactic with 3 direct attackers. Anyway the problem with my squad was with chemistry and the fact that i spent alot of my time trying to get a young midfielder from the transfer market and on the last day i succeded. So far im enjoying the game and its a helluva lot of fun being able to slow down plays to fake out the opposition to set up those sweat goals.

next update may a be a long time from now but hope everyone is having fun with the game
