EA had said that they had not added all the transfers and had said to use the editor...that's the reason they released so early. I don't think this really is much of a problem cuz of the editor. :)

Is there anyway to edit a Fifa Manager save file? I mean editing a match result, players rating and statistics after the match.

I just installed the game, and when I run it, it keeps exiting out to the desktop every few seconds. It's getting on my nerves now. Can I force it to run in Windowed mode? I couldn't see any option in the user INI file.

This is a fresh, full install on this machine: Athlon 64 3000+, nVidia 6600GT, 1gb (2x512mb) PC3200 RAM, Seagate 160gb Hard Drive, Gigabyte K8NF-9 nF4 motherboard. I was looking at the spec requirements and it doesn't mention the 6600-series being supported (it only says FX, 6800) but I assume that because the card is based on the same core it would support it.

I'm running the Forceware 71.89's at the moment, I'll download the new 81.85's tomorrow and give them a try. Meant to boost the old FPS' in games too, I'll force myself to play some UT2004 too.

Too much sliding around in 3D mode, even on light tackeling.
The freaking players just run full tilt out of bounds about 20 times a match!! so annoying as often its when they are on the fast break and are near the byline. :kader:

yes you actually can but everytime i do it the game resizes back to 1024 itself once i load my save game :(

does anyone know how to import new kits into fifa manager 06.
i have tried a way using ea graph but whe i try and watch a 3d game it crashes back to the desktop

otherwise try using text mode cuz when it crashes it indicates that your RAM is not capable of handling much memory while subbing which is why the game shuts before and **** happends to ur module :)

It crashes in the 3D mode, and I've got 512MB of RAM.

i guess try text-mode then there must be 2 much load on ur RAM because of excess memory. Trying closing all other progs. before playing the game.

That makes no sense at all. Plus, if you don't have enough, Windows will page to the Hard Drive, so there'll be a slowdown in performance (bandwidth to the hard drive is far slower than to RAM) but no problems.

The CL bug is still there - I played 2 matches at the same time, CL 3rd round qualifier and a premiership match. Why can't EA get rid of it, its been there since TCM2003 :nape:

The worst thing is at the end of the season, when you must play the Coppa Italia final and all of your starting players are on international duty, at the World Cup. Now that sucks!

Thanks but it looks like it's fixed now, made all 3 substitutions for a couple of times and nothing happened. But if I get it again, I'll send them the DxDiag log and the save game as they said in that thread.

jus gotta a new prob. Recently there was a prob with the power supply unit of my pc i got it fixed and now my pc's fine. I also added some more RAM(single module) and the problem is that whenever i start FMA 06 and then when i press make offer the game hangs and a Blue screen comes in with some errors and then the pc restarts after a second or so. I've tried re-installing the game but the problem still persists. any help??

That's strange. It might be a conflict between the game and the fact that some parts of your PC's hardware have changed, it's hard to believe 'though. Try uninstalling the game, deleting anything related to it from the registry (search for FIFA Manager and delete any of the value keys), then reinstall it. Hope it works.

That won't really help a RAM problem though . . . best thing to do is either a fresh install of windows or use MemTest86 (google) to check there's no faults on the RAM module.

during the 3D game, is there anyway to exit the match halfway? i mean getting the final result instead of watching the whole game till the end. in tcm05, pressing the space bar and clicking yes can end the 3D match.

i'm sorry, in tcm05 clicking esc can end the 3D match, not spcae bar.

anyway, after executing the 1st patch in 06, we can now view the 3D match in full screen with the space bar. F8 for game speed.

i've uninstalled it right now..used the memory tester, no prblem with my RAM, then removed the registry values, i have to install the game now. Will tell if it works

Is it me or are the matches a lot less interesting now? I just started with the patch and there's a lot more FIFA-style crap in it, like acting less like footballers and more like chav-controlled drunkards :(

Hi there! Sometimes, when one of the players throws the ball back in, the game "sort-of" freezes, what I mean is that none of the players run towards the ball (remaining stationary) and the match never ends. Even if the clock keeps going, even when it reaches the 90th (or 45th) minute and even after the extra time, forcing you to kill the application as the only way to exit the game.
Does anyone has experienced the same issue? Is there any way to force the players to move?

This game has more bugs than registered players.
But I love it!

PROBLEM: Staff

After one year I oferred extension of contract to my assistant manager and goalkeeper coach. They agreed in return of 15% salary increasement.

So, when season started, their salary was increasing abnormally (like 30% per week). In few weeks staff salary exceeded player's (Spain 2b).

Anyone had this problem?

Now I let their contracts expire, then I hire them again or new ones and their salaries stay as agreeded.

i just installed it...when i enter the game..the screen is black but i hear the sound(EA sports logo intro voice etc...).. but i dun see anythinig...

i tried windowed mode using "-windowed" in the shortcut target..it works but i can't move my mouse down only 3/4 of the game screen!!!

This game requires really good game specs. Try getting 1 gb of ram to play. I play with absolutely no problems at all! Except just the occassional lost to the bottom place side :P

that could be it though. can't be of much help as I've dropped FIFA Manager for FM a few years back.

Well, I'm around on the FIFAM Forum all the time (second highest posts on the English side), and the main reason for the sacking bug is if people have downloaded the game. BF have made the game unplayable for people who haven't bought it legally. The only option to fix that is to buy the game.
