Yeah, its kind of a bitch trying to get Lorik Cana. His club is really picky about him leaving and it will coast a good amount to get him but trust me, he is damn good and worth the pricetag.

i just had a bid of £9mill accepted, so that's a good start. Now i've gotta sell to raise the cash :(

Search over, Ledley King for £7m + £2.5m after 30 apps.

Once i get some more money i'll probably slot King as a CB with Rio and get Mascherano.

I managed to sell Lee Martin for £1.1mill and Paul McShane for £650k :p


I need an opinion on this though: Chelsea have offered £15mill + Makelele for Alan Smith. Accept? I'm tempted as i have cover for DM now and then i'll be able to get Mascherano aswell...

Of course accept. Makelele is way better, plus you get a great amount of money. I would already accept only the money

he was very consistent for me and i could play him at either CM, DM or ST and i knew that he'd perform well. Though he wasn't a vital part of my team so i'll accept £18mill :p

Smith is good apart from the fact he is one dirty player, he has about 4 red cars this season and a dozen yellow's, I only use him as a MC, but once he gets a yellow I need to sub him alot, either that or go down to 10 men.

I sold Rio to Chelsea for £15mill, easy money really, Silvestre and Maduro are a superb team in defence while Borre and Heinze are sensational on the sides.

Btw Dazmania, how many goals has Ruud scored for you this season? in all competitions. I think he has about 60+ for me, that is with being out for 2 months.

Ruud currently has 32 goals from 26 starts and 1 as sub.

i loved how dirty Smith was... my kinda player.

I had something like 77 yellow cards in my first season, Keane, Scholes and Smith probably have half of them between them, they are a lethal team in the midfield.

I wanted to buy Diego but I never had enough so Liverpool bought him instead, which is fine seeing as I bought Tuncay when they wanted him when I was Chelsea :p

I would sell Rio for £15 million to Chelsea, I bought Maduro and he is brilliant, him and Silvestre are some team, you should bung Borre at the RB because he is sublime there. Neville is benched for me because Borre is just so good, and yea I am trying to sell Brown aswell, but I can't seem to see anyone, the only offers I got was for Saha which the mong turned down, and ofcourse Rio who barely gets a game at Chelsea.

Ah well, I guess I can keep this team for another season where I will need to get cover for the oldies, if you want a good young GK get Pouplin from the France u21 team, good stats really and is only 20, pretty cheap as well at about £750k.

Your budget would of gone down because you spent so much the season before.

It's taken me three consecutive titles (1 double and 1 treble) with valencia to get a budget over 20 mill.

Why would you want Heitinga, he's poo, both irl and FM. (Or did I edit his stats down extremely, meh, cant remember)

Interesting. My wage budge was around £20-25mill if i recall correctly, although i sold quite alot of fringe players to get some more money in.

There is no way that i'd sell Rio at the moment, him and Ledley King are awesome. I made it my aim to have an English defensive line, now i have it in Bridge-King-Rio-Gaz. They're awesome, although Silvestre tends to play more as LB than Bridge (Heinze's been disappointing.

Sneijder is my star buy so far, he dominates the CM position, although he seems to get tired quickly so i've always got Diego or Vilakazi on the bench.

I've decided my priorities now are a new winger (preferably RM) and a ST. RB seems to be covered at the moment.
