Depends on the amount of money you have. Go for Ledley King or something when you have enough, go for Delpierre if you have less(3-5m)

I dont understand why people mention Delpierre so often as good DC, he looks crappy to me, plus he never plays for the teams he plays in.

He is a really nice player for me. He has good marking, tackling, and heading plus he is cheap. Just curious what are his stats in your game?

Noe Paramot develops into a good player you can try him. I actually got him for my backup team but he did very good and now he is one of my standard defenders on my 3-2-2-1-2.

Gabriel Tamas (Romanian) 800k. No stat below 10.

I got Svennson on a free when his contract expires, to be honest he's too inconsistent to really lead my backline but he's a great back up in my Lazio game
