This is my first experience making kits for Fifa games: I'm working on the database to create CONMEBOL leagues and I'm beginning from the Argentina league, this is way I started the realization of kits (minikits and logos too): I'm sure the overall quality is not the same of the expert kit-makers but I want to share anyway my creations. So these are the kits until now completed..

The best tip that I can give to you is look at you kit in game, then compare that to a real picture of the kit being played with in a match. You will then surely spot all the errors and see where adjustments can be made in colours, size of logos and other stuff like that.

The Rosario Central kits are old, or at least their ad is different now, "Paladini", also they have some other ad in the shorts which i don't remember what it was. The Quilmes' ones look fine but the logos seem too big.

i just didnt had time to explain all stuffs you have to learn BEFORE you make kits...looks like you dont know anything about the temlate,size of logos etc,etc....

Try and find pictures and then make it the same as you see it in those pictures.

well the kits are recognizeable but the designs arent right.
try making different templates and designs for different brands so when u need to make a kit that has that brand u just need to change colors then make the kit than thas it.....

I have completed the italian version of the patch that adds Argentina League to Tournament and Career mode. I'm looking for kitmakers that can help me in the realization of my patches: actually the kits present in the patch are realized by me and I considered that I haven't enough time to make the patch and to learn how to make very good kits, so I will include the kits I make and if some good kitmaker can realize good version for the kits of the teams included the patches will be of a better quality.

Actually I'm doing Chile league and I'm converting the patch for the english language; I'll post request for chilean teams in the request topic.

And believe me, i've seen like 10 kit makers that started copying kits parts (you call it stealing)... and in this days they are fine kit makers and most of them are very good; i wont give names cause well you know :p

This is the way it has always been on this forum, you don't use parts of other peoples work unless you have explicit permission, otherwise you should make everything yourself or if you do copy something don't post it as your own work.

Kits are freely distributed to be played with and used in FIFA2006, and not for other people to rip. It is the same with everything in life, If you go and se a movie at a cinema do you expect to be able to tape that movie with a video camera and not get prosecuted if you are caught redistributing it? :rolleyes:

Yea absolutely true, this kit making job is most of times very hard, and you get someone's job and present it like yours is just not fine. That other guy spent his time and his effort to make a good job, and even he is giving it to us freely; so you can see the bad. And come here with a bad attitude is not good too ... specially if you're doing wrong.

But I agree there are some kit makers that have some kind of parafernalia or madness when a noob kit maker copy part or entire kits ... ashaming and tell some guy "pathetic" it's not good, cause in most of times this guy is not aware of copying kits is wrong ... and telling him he's pathetic and worthless, and etc etc don't help him ... just make respect bout your work and aware every one of not copying kits.

And about your patches, don't worry man, I think FIFA fans are not losing anything bout your patch ... and you're not bringing anything new ... With some southamerican editors we will make Argentinan League in FIFA 06 as we did in FIFA 2005 in FIFA Peru; and yea we do it for free, and we do post our JPGs freely. And Chilean League will be done for sure by Fifa Chile or Rincon Total.

And yes there are people doing argentina league and chile too, but they just replace an existing league with the new ones.

Anyway, i know people in Rincon Total and they make great patches, with great kits; and of course they're chilean. They have experience in makin patches and for sure they will be making a better job than you can do. This has been the welcome I received as newbie in this forum by Sundsvall. After, I've tried to do some kits learning from kits done by others, and what I received was an accuse of STEALING, and an icon rappresenting a piece of poo. After, I've been informed by other Fifa editors what is the problem of this forum so I understood that is not a good idea trying to learn something by someone whose actitude is just to show his superiority: actually I'm learning editing Fifa with people who don't believe to be the masters of the universe and the owners of the ultimate wisdom: they are sharing with me their templates, we are studying together the structure of the database modifying players movement, tactics, career structure, hidden graphical settings etc. You share just your superbity and pathernalism.
