I think Joaquin looks a little bit to angry and C. Ronaldo's mouth looks a bit strange other than that i like them. Any chance of making Zlatan Ibrahimovic. As you can see on the pics he has long hair now so if you're making him dont make short hair because then i can use EA's bad one instead.

1) Make sure you have Microsoft Framework .NET installed, if not download it at Microsoft or through the optional software updates of the Windows Update

2) Get Rinaldo's File Master 06 and install it, see my link in another thread posted today in this forum

3 a) Here you have a choice, You either create a new empty zdata_31.big file and import the three files into it, and do the same with all new faces you want to import for players that don't have a specific face yet (made by EA).

3 b) Or you import the m228*.o file into zdata_3.big, the t22*.fsh file into zdata_21.big and the t21*.fsh file into zdata_23.big

To find out if a player has already got a custom face in Fifa or not, perform a search in File Master 06 using his player id number for example for Schevchenko you would do a search like this : *13128*.*

Schevchenko's files would be named like this : m228_13128.o for the 3D head file, t21_13128.fsh for the face texture and t22_13128.fsh for the hair texture.

So as you might have guessed Sheva's player id number in Fifa is 13128.

If you need more help post here again and I'll try to be more specific if needed

Read the last two posts on page 2 and the first two on page 3

Bottomline : yes 2GF looks slightly better but blows monkey balls for importing into game, it makes Fifa crash.

So your Seedorf face, I rescaled it to 1GF myself with paint shop pro before I imported it but it still looks very good. So my advise to facemakers, please make two versions of your faces, 1GF for the people who don't want to crash their Fifa and 2.5GF for the kamikazes who like to look for 12 hours after the file that's causing their fifa to crash.

Now I can take some pics if I have time between my sound pack editing but it will be your faces rescaled to 1GF I'm affraid.

Okay, this is what i have successfully done now:

I have placed the files of the Gabbidon face into the correct Zdata folders:

Zdata_03 = m228__19271.o
Zdata_21 = t22__19271_0.fsh
Zdata_23 = t21__19271_0_0.fsh

Now that the Gabbidon files are in the collect Zdata folders, what do i need to do? How do i assign the textures to him?

I would be really grateful if you could help me out with the next step!

Hey Carrick,

I just read your PM but I think Lopikau already helped you out here.
Concerning my West Ham Utd kits they are the ones Daver made for Fifa2005 in july of this year, reconverted to Fifa06 with the kit converter Rinaldo made, I use the home, away and yellow gk kit and they do look very good ingame. You can find them in his Fifa 2005 thread in the kits forum.

Now you did the right thing and put the files in the right zdata files. But keep in mind that once you start adding more faces, it is useful to create a new zdata_31.big file with File Master or Big Gui and put all the files in there, Fifa tends to crash once the zdata files get too big in size or contain too many files, I recommend, for Fifa06, to not go over 515 files per big (500 are already in there by default), no matter the file size, or to make zdata.big files NO bigger than 60 Mb (even if they contain less files than 515)

@Carrick, i will release gabbidon updates next month :i guess:

and these faces will be previewed and released on 20th December.

how do you know where the players faces are? is there some tool that tells you every player face in the zdata files?

If you have fifa data master or boot raptor you can check the player's id then you look up in wich zdatas they are in with Rinaldo's File Master 2006 for example Zlatan Ibrahimovic id: 41236
his Ofile is in in zdata 4 the hair in 22 and face in 23 then you import them with buggui and run fatbhuilder. I hope that helped.

its commonly, t21__ fsh files that have the faces.. :)

OK, every t21 is a face file.
But if u spotted that it has a player id on the back, its a special face!

There's something wrong with your Materazzi face, it goes completely black viewed at close up or during replays, just like the error when trying to use the old Fifa2005 faces, the .o file caused that, did you use a Fifa2005 .o file?

You can reprocuce the black face when you preview Materazzi in Kit Raptor by entering his id number in the lower right corner of the kit raptor and then click on the face, you then get a close up view of him, if you can't reproduce it I'll post a screenshot.

The problem happens with all the fifa2005 .o files I tried, I have about 500 faces for that game so I tried importing some of them into Fifa06 but all the ones I tried give the same error, some of them appear to be all right ingame but then do this : pause your game when a player with a Fifa2005 .o file has the ball, go to replay mode and then turn the camera around him, in certain angles his head will become pitch black or even vanish. Also if they score, their head will vanish or distort during the replays of the goal, scary stuff!

Just my luck... Ricardo Fuller and Ricardo Gardner both done, and I didn't know... and now the links are dead. The Gardner face didn't look much like him, but the Fuller face was pretty good...
