how do you guys score on free kicks?!? i've got them on target most of the time, but they go so damn slow.. i just can't score!

Pressing up and down changes the speed, the lower on the wall of players you move (down) the faster the kick goes. The higher over the wall (up) the slower the ball goes but from farther distances outside the box I always push up (higher over the wall) and it doesn't seem to effect the speed as much. When you'tre right on top of the box you need to move it down otherwise it will be too slow.

You can also hold the modifier and shoot for a direct really hard shot along the ground, but that usually clangs into the wall.
Go into practice mode and play around. Having a gerat player take the kick is important as well.
