Here is my GPU release for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Demo gameplay. This update will improve most of the aspects that EA keeps ignoring. I hope that you will enjoy it.

1. More control on cameras.
2. Smooth render mode.
3. Improved CPU gameplay.

Very nice update. Now we have a decent camera and the ball fysics are
more realistic.
I just have the impression that the smooth render mode doesn't work for me. (probably my computer can't handle it, although i have radeon mobility x700 128MB (maybe because it's a laptop)) It's a bit shocking and that wasn't before I installed your gameplay update.
Could you maybe release the same one whitout the smooth render mode?

Thanks, I tried it with this one and it was the same. But after some searching and tweaking I found out that it was something in my 3d settings of my graphics card (settings for anti-analising were a bit too high to handle).

Now I know the problem so I can play this great update properly.

Ofcourse mate... I'll be fixing up a version for the Full copy of Germany Fifa 2006 as soon as I buy the game from a local store. I have to wait for another 2 days... :)

I tried to install but the game goes back to desktop after the "Press any key" screen. I belive it's becouse of the config.dat.

Thank you guys for the intention of helping, but I can't modify the files unless I have the full game, I mean I have to try everything before sending anybody the files, they may contain bugs and stuff.

So sorry mates, got to wait for at least another 2 days. :)

I'm dieing to try the full version and fix its game play. I hope that the shop at my area gets the game on time.

For now, I would love from you all to write down a full description of the areas you think that they need to be fixed in the game play.

If I have one or two complaints from FIFA's gameplay, although I only play on Semi-Pro, is that keepers don't come out most of the times even on one-on-ones, as well as I feel that besides the player I'm controlling, on occasions I'm on the defense, the rest of my team's players aren't doing much, such as tackling, or chasing the player.

As a continue for XLNC's post, something which need an improvement is to make the other players (besides the one with the ball) more involved in the game, for example - in attack make the CM come to opponent box more, that the right/left backs will attack from the wings and not only when I send them for a run...

OK, so until now:

1. Make goalkeeper more involved in the ball and comes out more often.
2. Modify other players (in general) to react and participate more in the game flow.

All points are going to be taken into consideration, please keep adding suggestments.

Well, i dont' know how much of the gameplay can be changed so, i hope it's possible to implement those.

How about the CPU going forward more agressivelly (Don't know if this word exists) for example: If a CPU player is front to front with a defender, it will probably touch the ball backward instead of trying a shot or a trick up the defender. He should go forward! :)

Another one: The CPU shouldn't keep changing directions while the ball is in posession for no reason. Example: CPU running down the wing with no opposition then all of sudden, stops and turns 90 degrees and turn again, and goes to a side then another like a drunk roach.

One more: Goalkeepers should come out closing the goal angle, not in a strait line to the ball. And they should be beaten with a good trick.

caseira, the points that you've mentioned are 100% gameplay oriented and they can be changed, but maybe the last point (about the keeper) can not be changed; I'll try my best. :)

New points:

3. Make the CPU attack more aggressively, and in a realistic way.
4. Increase the CPU's AI (Artificial Intelligence) when they are in empty spaces.
5. Goalkeeper should run towards the attacker while trying to close the right and left areas, instead of following the ball like a kid!

Ball physics - the ball is too "balloony". When you strike from distance it just seems to float at the net. If you could fix the gravity of the ball, making it more realistic as far as speed and trajectory is concerned, that would be super.

I'm buying it from Virgin Mega Store at my place, and they said that they'll get the first shipment by today or tomorrow, and they'll call me as soon as it becomes available for release.

Can u tell which files you modify for your gameplays. I try to modify gamespeed in the ini file but the game crashes. i believe you have to edit several files to have the same settings...right?
