Now is time to sign-up. All potential XBLLN members must submit an application (Join the XBLLN) (http://www.xblln.com/join.asp).

League format will be based on how many teams/owners we have in the league. Our goal, realistic or not, is for 32 owners. This will allow us to create 8 groups containing 4 teams/owners each, that will compete in a slightly elongated group stage. After that group stage is complete, the top 2 teams in each group will advance to the World Cup, single elimination, tournament.

If we come short of the 32 owner goal, we will do a slightly smaller and abstract version of what is described above.

Sign-ups for current XBLLN members can be handled in the sign-up thread in the XBLIL 360 forum. All new members must submit an application (Join the XBLLN) (http://www.xblln.com/join.asp).

Teams will be assigned via a draft, and your draft position will be determined by your original XBLLN sign-up date. We will draft in groups of 5. Each owner in each group must submit their picks via email within 24hours of being on the clock. If you fail to turn in your pick, you will be dropped down to the last group. If you miss your pick again, you will be removed from the league.

Chris is spot on with everything he has said. I can say that I have been in the league for over a year and it is nothing but class. There are so many different leagues and the site is about to expand yet again. If you play it on the 360 you should check it out because it's worth it if you are looking for good honest competition.

Is something like this also organized for pc gamers?

not really a world cup leauge is it, as being in australia we don't have a cat in hells chance, of having a decent online game without the horendous lag through EA servers :nape:

Denni, sorry at this point we only do Xbox Live. We plan on adding PC and PS2/3 leagues before Christmas 06.

Draft date: Saturday - May, 6, 2006

League is now full and running pre-season tournaments. We are still taking sign-ups from those interested in being placed on the waiting list.

Those that fail to play their 1st round pre-season tournament will be removed from the league, thus opening the door to the waiting list guys.

There is still a great chance to get in this league before it begins the 1st group stage.
