Hey Guys i am new here, but i have been playing football managers since PLM`97.
I decided to do my own club this time, because i like the challange. I played one year got promoted and now i am running out of good young players. When i started this club i sold out/released all the old players and bought a new squad which is like 2 times better then all other teams in Regional 2nd devision so i had no problems with promotion. But i finished the season with a loss of 700.000. The next Season i decided not to buy any players and just loan some from higher leauges. I got 3 really good players since i won the lower divison cup and got my club promoted so my prestige went up. This season i am making fine without any loss but i have to donate all of my career earnings to the club. I am doing really great even in English Cup. I have defeted Doncaster (1st division team) by penalties and now i have won at home against Preston (1st Devision team as well). Now my Teams worth is around 500 which is approximately the same as teams worth in second division and i am 5 leagues lower.
Why i made this thread?
Well i would like to get some tips, from players that are playing in the same mode. Training tips, Decent player tips and Financal tips. I hope i will get some.
And here is my tip: When u are negotiating a new sponsor contract try getting duration to 1 year. Since its easy to get promoted at the start and you will get a much better sponsor in a higher league.
