hermolt 09-07-2006, 02:12:PM Firstly, bye Shaka :(
Can't be arsed writing anything good - no flirting with relegation and a run in one cup, please. And another 8 points off North London, haw.
Best's_cadaver 10-07-2006, 05:02:AM How about another hint at the FA cup? You guys hcould really chasse it.
O and yeah i like Green Street Hooligans too.
Nice way to get you attention Hammers. :$
hermolt 10-07-2006, 05:17:AM That's the closest we'll be to an FA Cup for a good decade, I think. Still hurts.
You aint getting a point off us.
Best's_cadaver 10-07-2006, 05:25:AM Man City will (H)
That was quite an accomplishment to get there and loose in that fashion Hermolt. It was good enough to make you guys claim a European spot but not enough to win.
Good job though i really enjoyed beatting you guys. :D
hermolt 10-07-2006, 08:43:AM You aint getting a point off us.
We'll settle for being morally superior and not fat.
rlrao1987 11-07-2006, 04:28:AM west ham was really unlucky to lose in fa cup final. STEVIE G wa the diffference between two teams.
hermolt 12-07-2006, 01:17:AM I hereby put a moratorium on any **** talking about the FA Cup Final in this thread.
Ifangyew.
$teauA 12-07-2006, 06:49:AM Shaka signed for FC Dallas in the MLS if you didn't know :jap:
Nimreitz 12-07-2006, 07:09:AM I just saw highlights of the FA Cup Final, that Gerrard really is something isn't he?
(H)
TheBlueBalla 12-07-2006, 05:05:PM Bowyer in for free, Spector in for 500k. Great acqusitions by Pardew. The former I dont expect to give much outside of leadership in the locker room, but Spector was a mint prospect a year ago. Ferguson was stupid to give him up for next to nothing at 20 years old.
What are the other hammer targets this summer??
and not fat.
(H)
I am loving the title off this thread :fool:
I saw you guys are getting M. Bent. Who will be the forward to leave
Fernandez 12-07-2006, 06:45:PM but Spector was a mint prospect a year ago. Ferguson was stupid to give him up for next to nothing at 20 years old.
Spector was a good prospect, but he needed first-team football to continue his development. He will impress for West Ham.
hermolt 13-07-2006, 03:15:AM We don't expect Spector to play much of a role this year, he'll most likely be back up for our back 4 - at this stage Tyrone Mears from Preston will be our starting RB, but we're more than likely to get Lionel Scaloni back \o/\o/
We've also got Carlton Cole in, which I don't necessarily mind as he'll beef our squad up for Waffa Cup, but on the other hand, he's a steaming heap of poo :( And if we sell Zamora, that'd just be flat out retarded.
Our other targets thus far have ranged from the stupid to the less stupid, names like Saviola, Sagnol and Appiah were bandied about by the more excitable Irons fans, names now include Steeeeeeeeeed (still probably won't happen), Duscher (the same), I've just heard Govou's name mentioned (\o/), Sidwell and James Milner.
I love transfer windows (Y)
Nimreitz 13-07-2006, 04:43:AM HAHAHAHA, Sagnol!?!?!?! He just reupped at Bayern and turned down an opportunity to go to Juventus (before the scandal) on a Bosman. Why would he go to West Ham?!!??!
hermolt 13-07-2006, 06:32:AM HAHAHAHA, Sagnol!?!?!?! He just reupped at Bayern and turned down an opportunity to go to Juventus (before the scandal) on a Bosman. Why would he go to West Ham?!!??!
Exactement. That particular rumour came from a bloke on a WHU board who said he was speaking with Keith Peacock in a pub, Peacock said he'd be joining the club as a coach, and he knew that Sagnol was coming and Malbranque was almost assured.
Peacock then did join as a coach, and our fans got a little bit giddy.
hermolt 19-07-2006, 04:19:PM So Shaun '10 Grand' Newton tests positive for charlie. The twat.
rhizome17 25-07-2006, 09:44:AM Yeah, but it wouldn't be West Ham if there wasn't some spice to start the season would it. Thats whats so great about being mid-table teams. I mean Joey Barton has yet to do his thing yet, whether it be the cigar stub in youth players eye or smashing the 6ft 5in captains face in. At least when another trophyless season comes to an end we have these great memories.
hermolt 26-07-2006, 06:58:AM You know it, rhizome. The joys of following a team like that are boundless.
rhizome17 26-07-2006, 07:36:AM And the other thing is noone really, in their hearts of hearts, hate us. Yes there are rival teams that do, but its not a widespread hatred. I know everyone is supporting us when we play the red scum. And you know everyone was behind you in the FA Cup final last year.
Even when we lose, we win.
Positive attitude can of course be revised five games into the season.
hermolt 26-07-2006, 03:09:PM I went mental when a) Fowler scored against Man U and held up 5 fingers, and b) SWP's ridiculous goal in 04/05 when he dribbled from the halfway line and scored off the crossbar.
In conclusion, I agree.
dubcrazy 26-07-2006, 03:38:PM any chace of u selling reo-coker to united??
hermolt 27-07-2006, 01:22:AM No.
Nimreitz 27-07-2006, 06:17:AM Anton Ferdinand to Liverpool?
(H)!!!!!!
I kid out of love. West Ham were one of those teams that I just loved back when I first got into the EPL after World Cup 98 and it really made me sad when they collapsed and sold all of their talent. I was really excited about you guys and Leeds challenging the royalty, but unfortunately it never happened.
rhizome17 27-07-2006, 08:01:AM Manchester City and West Ham will be battling it out for the treble in the next decade mate, once the Italian-style match fixing business of the top five clubs (of course Spurs will be implicated for dreaming to be one of the big boys) is uncovered.
hermolt 29-07-2006, 09:58:AM Anton Ferdinand to Liverpool?
(H)!!!!!!
I kid out of love. West Ham were one of those teams that I just loved back when I first got into the EPL after World Cup 98 and it really made me sad when they collapsed and sold all of their talent. :*) I <3 you.
And rhizome, I'm just counting down the days till the festering corruption is uncovered.
rhizome17 03-08-2006, 09:55:AM Haha nice hatchet job on Fat Franks new 'book' in the Guardian
http://football.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/Column/0,,1835780,00.html
hermolt 06-08-2006, 03:44:PM Marina Hyde > Fat Frank
Deisler 06-08-2006, 04:02:PM any chace of u selling reo-coker to united??
Dream on, til next season :(
hermolt 11-08-2006, 03:13:PM Deeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo
Vazza 11-08-2006, 03:22:PM Heh...a worthy call-up may I add. Wanted Reo-Coker in there too though instead of Jenas, who's pants IMO.
hermolt 14-08-2006, 04:18:AM Reo Coker has a ways to go IMO, he certainly covers every blade of grass in every game, but I think he needs to work on his finishing a touch. If he can start banging in goals from outside the box a la the opening game against Blackburn last season, then he'll really take a step up and impose himself on the league and the national team.
Agreed on Jenas, though.
Jaouadinho 14-08-2006, 03:39:PM you hammers have signed Robert Green from norwich, for 2 million.
http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=409775&CPID=8&clid=21&lid=2&title=Hammers+agree+deal+for+Green
hermolt 14-08-2006, 04:07:PM He ain't signed just yet.
COME ON ELEVENTH HOUR CALLING OFF
hermolt 27-08-2006, 12:21:PM Arsenal and Man U want Reo Coker.
FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKK OOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Deisler 27-08-2006, 01:36:PM After Man U were told to fvck off by Bayern for Hargreaves now they want Rocker. I wish he ciuld stay with the Hammers but i doubt it lad.
Hopefully he wont leave this season though. :drevil:
Manufan_dan 27-08-2006, 01:45:PM 7 million is supposivly what united will pay...rekon hammers will be able to resist???
hermolt 28-08-2006, 04:22:AM Resist 7 million? Double it and add a 50% sell on fee and we might think about starting to take it seriously.
In any case, die off United and L'arse (N)
Deisler 28-08-2006, 04:35:AM 7 million pounds is quite understandable for Rocker Hermolt i think. With that money we could get a decent sub and keep some cash.
I am pretty sure the academy will have a decent option too. :o
Siawash 28-08-2006, 05:22:AM The academy WILL have a option that can fullfill Reo-Coker's boots. The academy is as good as Ajax's. One of the best in the world right now.
hermolt 30-08-2006, 03:41:AM NO NO NO NO NO NO.
We sell Reo Coker, we're a selling club again. Then Anton goes, then Ashton, then Yossi. The double it plus sell on fee was a throw away line - we must not sell anyone of note this season. It doesn't matter about whether or not the academy has someone to fill his boots, it's about the signal it sends out (and also the fact that Anton, Bobby and Nige are basically inseparable off the pitch, one leg of that tripod falls, I figure they all fall).
NO TO SELLING REO COKER.
Zlatan 30-08-2006, 06:28:PM I know how it feels. But there's nothing to do about it.
Ajax and West Ham, as young talent mass producers, will always be hunted by the big clubs. :nape:
hermolt 31-08-2006, 04:17:AM I want 15 mill plus a sell on for Reo, in 18 months time (if we haven't won a cup by then) kthxbye
hermolt 31-08-2006, 03:29:PM If this transfer actually happens, I'm setting up a velvet rope in this thread to keep all the glory hunting mongs out.
Jaouadinho 31-08-2006, 03:31:PM How come no one in this thread has mensioned hammers signing Tevez and Mescherano?
well i guess i just have hers the link by the way....http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=413252&CPID=8&clid=21&lid=3&title=Star+pair+to+sign+for+Hammers
xiaoarc 31-08-2006, 03:37:PM This thread is gonna be busy if the news is real.
zlojack 31-08-2006, 05:51:PM Get ready to be deluged by posts from ManU fans crying like jilted schoolboys at their first dance when the hot girl decides to dance with someone else.
modena_10 31-08-2006, 06:35:PM wow. congratulations on the two big signings. i hope that tevez can adjust to the much more physical english game. once he does, he is gonna cause havoc on defences.
mascherano and reo coker in the middle is a real solid young CM duo. west ham being my favourite english team, it will be even better watching them this year.
Deisler 31-08-2006, 10:32:PM If this transfer actually happens, I'm setting up a velvet rope in this thread to keep all the glory hunting mongs out.
It happened alright. :D
Carlito a Hammer who would have actually believed? Now i predict a lot of manwho fans around? Well keep am coming , the transfers i mean.
What # is he getting?
hermolt 01-09-2006, 02:44:AM I hear Mascherano getting Bobby Moore's number 6 (Terry Brown actually said "Javi knew about Bobby Moore", pull the other one Tel) and Carlitos getting 21.
*CUMS*
Deisler 01-09-2006, 03:02:AM Bowyer & Mascherano in the midfield, boy oh boy will that be fireworks? :wootman:
I am a little sad though, carlito means less time for Bobby Zamorra & Teddy. :(
CL anyone? :rockman:
A Bayern - West Ham would be something :D
Fallen 01-09-2006, 12:53:PM Lee Bowyer? You have him?
Did he just sign or was he in your squad before?
And as far as i know, West Ham is playing in the Uefa Cup ... they were in the same group as Rapid Bucharest, but luckily they weren't drawn together :)
Jaouadinho 01-09-2006, 02:52:PM I hear Mascherano getting Bobby Moore's number 6 (Terry Brown actually said "Javi knew about Bobby Moore", pull the other one Tel) and Carlitos getting 21.
*CUMS*
Tevez is getting number 32 and Mascherano is getting 16.
Man this guy is good LOL.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1DLGM0YROA
Axolote 02-09-2006, 04:34:PM What kind of tactic WHU use...?
4-4-2 ?
or
4-3-1-2 ?
hermolt 02-09-2006, 04:38:PM 4-4-2
Carroll
Paintsil Gabbidon Ferdinand Konchesky
Benayoun Mascherano Reo Coker Etherington
Tevez Ashton
Is our strongest team on paper, with Collins, Mears, Spector and McCartney as defensive backup, Bowyer, Mullins and Reid for the midfield, and Harewood, Zamora, Cole and Teddy as our rotating strikers.
If Sheringham gets near a Premier League match now, I'll scream and probably scratch my eyeballs out.
Yossarian 02-09-2006, 05:00:PM OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! I can't believe that we got these two stars, man! I've always been a big fan of West ham and all that good ****, you know?
Now let's go out there and sparkle like stars while securing ourselves a UCL spot, boys.
Woot, woot, wooooooot!
I hear Mascherano getting Bobby Moore's number 6 (Terry Brown actually said "Javi knew about Bobby Moore", pull the other one Tel) and Carlitos getting 21.
*CUMS*
Dude, you're a total fraud, man. How long have you been a Hammer, less than a week or so I take it? This is ridiculous, man.
Your club is still sh*t Yoss.
Yossarian 02-09-2006, 06:00:PM *Wedges knee between Rob's pudgy thighs to separate them*
There, there lad. Don't be neeeervous.......allow me to pet your 'ead.
davidcfs 02-09-2006, 06:10:PM *Wedges knee between Rob's pudgy thighs to separate them*

pede54 03-09-2006, 02:07:PM Those forum members are probably all under 12 years of age. At least they wanna be because that thread is just laughable.
Deisler 03-09-2006, 02:41:PM Or they are having a laugh man, don't get too emotional just couse they want Lamps in their bench. :D
SlowSilver 03-09-2006, 02:44:PM http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69591&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 (H)
I was going to post this morning. :D
Great stuff. :rockman:
pede54 03-09-2006, 02:51:PM Funny all these West Ham sigs appearing out of nowhere aint it Deisler?
Deisler 03-09-2006, 02:59:PM West Ham sigs?
The only sig i have about West Ham is the avatar on top off the Who loves Footie hates Juventus quote and that has been there way way before Tevez to West Has was going to be even mentioned.
But yeah there are a lot of West Ham 'fans' flourishing all of a sudden apparenty, aint i right Yoss?
SlowSilver 03-09-2006, 03:08:PM I am quite sure Yoss is only messin' about. If not, then, how many teams do you support Yoss? :(
adj137 03-09-2006, 03:46:PM The good times are coming to London, all our major teams will be playing a new brand of exicting attacking football: Arsenal,Chelsea,Tottenham,WHU...Fulham :( . Why didnt they want to come to the cottage, imagine a Diop-Massher combo in the centre.
Ah well good luck to WHU, just drop the twat Bowyer and then maybe they might get some more support from the Stratford area. If they keep him - **** em
Yossarian 03-09-2006, 03:51:PM I am quite sure Yoss is only messin' about. If not, then, how many teams do you support Yoss? :(
More teams than Nike sponsors........the Hammers have always been in my blood, man.
HAMMER MAD, BABY, HAMMER MAD!
wooot, woot, zooot, zoot!
Nimreitz 03-09-2006, 04:49:PM I recently told my good friend Hermolt that I've always been an outspoken West Ham fan in person, but I just neglected to tell anyone on SG. It just always slipped my mind I guess.
TheBlueBalla 03-09-2006, 05:04:PM Yeah, my cousin is a big Irons fan. Or rather, he's Manc, and they were his favorite championship squad. Tenuious link, but thats good enough for me
:D
(Seriously though, despite being a Manc, he really liked WHU, had a kit and all, I wonder what he's going to make of all this)
Nimreitz 03-09-2006, 06:33:PM My best guess from the one soccernet article that forces me to make the connections for myself about why this all happened is that the Corinthians owner, Kia Joorabchian, is trying to purchase West Ham, or at least a large part of it, and this is sort of a good will gesture to get him into the fold. That's what I suspect.
pede54 03-09-2006, 06:48:PM My best guess from the one soccernet article that forces me to make the connections for myself about why this all happened is that the Corinthians owner, Kia Joorabchian, is trying to purchase West Ham, or at least a large part of it, and this is sort of a good will gesture to get him into the fold. That's what I suspect.
MSI dont make goodwill gestures Nim.
adj137 03-09-2006, 09:16:PM man this guy Kia looks like a funny, arab version of Roman. although where he gets his money from is even more suspect than Roman's dodgy oil dealings.
btw fu(k it man, this flood of billionaires into the Premiership is making Momo look like an ordinary chairman. Damn i feel...so poor, like Charlton.
Kibe Kru 03-09-2006, 09:33:PM MSI dont make goodwill gestures Nim.
heh, according to them, Tevez was a "gift" to Corinthians. They had signed a contract that MSI would invest X million dollars in players, but Tevez's value wouldn't count towards that.
zlojack 04-09-2006, 01:50:PM arab version of Roman
Iranians aren't Arabs.
adj137 04-09-2006, 05:14:PM my mistake i was looking for a word, but couldn't find one - so i compromised. anyway i swear i saw a newspaper refer to his as that... well i don't think you can really can the evening standard a newspaper.
zlojack 04-09-2006, 05:21:PM Persian version of Roman.... :)
It even rhymes!
Vedran-10 04-09-2006, 10:55:PM Man, out of Europe's three strongest leagues, La Liga is the only one not to get messed up by scandals or sugar daddies.
Salute to that.

LOL the bundesliga also :jap:
hermolt 05-09-2006, 04:42:AM GET THE F*CK OUT OF THE WEST HAM THREAD IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO TALK ABOUT WEST HAM
hermolt 05-09-2006, 04:43:AM Jia Koorabchian is the frontman for a consortium that includes his own money plus that of one London tycoon (most probably Michael Tabor) and a number of Arabian tycoons.
The takeover bid is, as initially suggested, a completely separate entity to the Tevez/Mascherano transfer deal.
It does not (NOT) involve MSI, any of the Russians or (yet) the Ukrainian.
If accepted, the takeover bid will most likely leave Brown 'in charge', but more or less as the (share-owning) puppet of the consortium. It will also pay off all remaining debts and provide a substantial transfer fund.
All pinched from another West Ham forum. The member who posted it works for a London daily and is pretty much always spot on.

zlojack 05-09-2006, 02:28:PM (Y) I for one am all for this. I think it's great that the fanboys are all crying foul over this move.

Jaouadinho 10-09-2006, 12:59:PM Any news on tomorrow formation...?
Mascherano starting and Tevez on the bench...?
yeh from what ive heard so far tevez will be on the bench as he isnt fit yet but mascherano should start
Deisler 10-09-2006, 05:14:PM It's mid half time and they are still on the bench.
I would be really pissed off if all of a sudden Pardiew plays Tevez and lives Zamorra on the bench. The guy just scored his 5 on 4 games and has scored in every single match including the two he handled Man C.
The defence is way too shakky though, 2 spectacular saves but could have been avaid though.
61 Min.
Harwood OUT
Tevez IN.
Lets see...
$teauA 10-09-2006, 05:50:PM Good game (Y). You can tell that Tevez will get used to the pace in no time. Sure he sometimes looked a little lost but when he had the ball around the box he was as dangerous as ever.
hermolt 11-09-2006, 03:22:PM Good point considering how shiiiiiiiiit we were. Tevez starting for Harewood against Palermo kthxbye
zlojack 11-09-2006, 03:32:PM Man I thought he looked pretty damn good considering it was his first app after not playing for so long, on a team where he doesn't even speak the language.
Once he gets used to things I think you will be doing some damage.

Siawash 29-09-2006, 12:16:AM I'm in love with Palermo now.
Moreira_Benfica 29-09-2006, 01:03:AM damn after the 2 big signings west ham have been crap
Dreath 29-09-2006, 01:35:PM I'm in love with Palermo now.
Me too. It's ******* brilliant watching this team **** up at every corner. I wonder what Tevez and Mascherano must be thinking. They could of gone to at least a half decent club but nope they're at a racist, xenophobic club with disillusions of granduer.
MaestroZidane 29-09-2006, 04:52:PM damn after the 2 big signings west ham have been crap
did anyone actually expect for teves and mascherano to start performing from the get go?? They need time to adapt, it's unfortunate though that they have to suffer like this..
pede54 29-09-2006, 05:01:PM I think its the other way round. West Ham were doing OK until they "aquired" Tevez and Mascherano. The players themselves are probably not the problem, its the baggage that they brought with them which has resulted in negative speculation regarding the future of the club. This has obviously destabilised the atmosphere that existed at the club prior to those two arriving.
When you hear that one of the biggest knobs at MSI has said that they are only interested in West Ham PURELY for the "real estate", then this has got to be a massive worry for all at West Ham. If this mob do take over, and Brown sells out, they could very likely disband the club and sell off its ground to property developers. With that in mind, I can understand why the Hammers are in meltdown right now.
MaestroZidane 29-09-2006, 05:41:PM maybe for the reasons that you have mentioned. the minute everything came out, uncertantity may have been created on the players mind and rather than leaving out of the pitch, they have taken it into it.
Seems they're a bit unsettled. And this year, with the 2 big signings, the pressure went up a notch and players dont look like they were too prepared to that. Last season as long as they stayed up everything would be accepted. That's not the case anymore.
MaestroZidane 02-10-2006, 10:22:PM another game and another lost, but Reading are a suprising team so i really can't blame you guys.
Siawash 03-10-2006, 03:32:AM Me too. It's ******* brilliant watching this team **** up at every corner. I wonder what Tevez and Mascherano must be thinking. They could of gone to at least a half decent club but nope they're at a racist, xenophobic club with disillusions of granduer.
They didn't make a diffence at Corinthians this season anyway. They were last.
$teauA 03-10-2006, 04:24:AM so then what the hell is with all the hype over these two guys :|?
It's not exactly like that. If not for those 2 the team would be in an even worse position. The thing is their number 9 got injured (Nilmar) and they had 2 forwards to play only, Tevez and Rafael Moura. Add that to the lack of a good goalkeeper, a terrible defense and an even worse coach and there you go. When a team is in crisis, it's doesnt depend on one player to take them out of it. He needs help, which he lacked. Not to mention that Tevez bagged 3-4 goals in 6 matches or so after coming back from the WC, before leaving.
Trailblazer 03-10-2006, 02:47:PM so then what the hell is with all the hype over these two guys :|? They were phenominal in the World Cup and are obviously brimming with talent. Maybe West Ham just isnt right for them?
Dreath 03-10-2006, 04:14:PM Tevez was average in the WC IMO. Mascherano was good.
MaestroZidane 03-10-2006, 06:07:PM Bobby zamora was on fire before tevez and mascherano signed..
Tevez was very good against Serbia and Netherlands. Apart from that he looked fairly decent at most.
Axolote 03-10-2006, 09:38:PM so then what the hell is with all the hype over these two guys :|?
They arent overrated, they are the real deal.
They just need time.
I believe that west ham can improve a lot.
Its a long season.
MaestroZidane 03-10-2006, 10:09:PM Every player needs time to adjust to a new system and team. Look at Sheva and ballack. It is just a shame that they happen to arrive and West ham go on a loosing streak.
hermolt 04-10-2006, 04:03:PM Has a fair bit to do with the prospective (now probably dead) takeover deal.
Oh, and the British media had literally no idea re: Palermo. We got ****ed, and when the Toon go there and the same thing happens we'll see who's right and who's sensationalised cos it suits them, ****s.
MaestroZidane 04-10-2006, 10:20:PM So when you thought things may stabilize, the takeover deal may now fall apart?? All this because Pardew is not happy with it and threaten to quit, and also he is not happy with tevez and mascherano's fondness with the london nightlife and lack of english....
hmmmm wonder what will happen...
hermolt 05-10-2006, 01:21:AM The takeover deal falling apart is stabilising for the club. Pardew has released a statement saying he didn't threaten to quit - and if he did, it wouldn't be because of the Argies' fondness for getting on the piss (Anton has been in fights twice in the past year at nightclubs) or that they don't speak English (Super Tommy Repka was there for 5 years and hardly spoke a jot).
To be fair, I want the takeover dead and we can move on from there.
Moreira_Benfica 05-10-2006, 11:42:PM :boohoo:
Argentina coach Alfio Basile has urged Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to quit West Ham United as soon as possible.
The Hammers pulled off a real coup on transfer deadline day by bringing the pair to Upton Park from Corinthians.
However, since their arrivals, Alan Pardew's men have gone on a nightmare run, scoring just once and picking up only a point in The Premiership.
Neither player has sparkled as they were expected to in The Premiership and Basile believes the pair need to leave West Ham for the good of their careers.
Tevez and Mascherano are both set to play some part in next week's friendly against Spain but Basile has warned them they will have to improve on recent performances.
"I hope both of them leave that club as soon as possible," he told TyC Sports.
"I think they are half-hearted and I'm really worried about that. They play as if they are unenthusiastic.
"I hope for God's sake that Mascherano can go to Juventus as it has been said, even if he has to play in the second division (in Italy).
"And Tevez can play in any position in the attacking line, but not as a left-winger like he is currently playing."
Dreath 05-10-2006, 11:45:PM (H)
MaestroZidane 05-10-2006, 11:54:PM My money is on them leaving on january. It is rumored that tevez will be going to valencia.... Too many thing will happen but they will leave

Callum 25-10-2006, 02:10:AM mascherano is a little pussy, look at his face, I doubt defoe bit him that hard.
Axolote 25-10-2006, 03:12:AM mascherano is a little pussy, look at his face, I doubt defoe bit him that hard.
I dont know, you must be a bite expert...
What dafoe did is consider ''pussy'', in this side of the world...
Callum 25-10-2006, 03:39:AM Never said he wasnt, but still doesnt change the fact mascherano looks like hes about to cry, and why is he acting this way? Because he is faking it like a bitch.
He's argentinian, that's expectable.
Dreath 25-10-2006, 05:58:PM "You're just a rubbish Charlton" (8)
pspmad06 04-11-2006, 06:50:PM Hi i am new and i am west ham !!!!
IRONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MaestroZidane 06-11-2006, 11:43:PM Let me throw this question out to you guys.
With the two current wins, and no tevez and mascherano in the pitch and/or the bench, What do you guys think is going on with them?? or does anybody care?? :jambo:
hermolt 10-11-2006, 09:12:PM I'm all for giving them more time to settle - I actually prefer Mullins to Mascherano, which is a shame because Javi is really very good. Tevez is sheer class, will be superb, and I can't wait to see him paired with Ashton or Sheringham rather than Zamora. Dunno how long they'll be here for but I think soon enough they'll make their mark.
Run DMB 19-11-2006, 10:43:PM What do you guys think of Jonathan Spector so far?
hermolt 20-11-2006, 07:04:AM Good. Defensively is really quite sound, although he does have the tendency to lunge in at time and he probably lacks a step. Going forward he's looked really good in and around the box, knocked some quality balls in.
Looks like a snip at 500K.
Run DMB 20-11-2006, 10:01:PM Thanks man. (Y)
O-car 20-11-2006, 10:37:PM What is your oppinion on the likely takeover by Eggert Magnússon?
Deisler 21-11-2006, 12:13:AM You kiddin me? The guy is nothing but an average player. Lotsa times he seems lost on the pitch and sometimes i think he doesn't even want to try to hard. I really think Spector is not the one we were accostumed seeing in Man U.
hermolt 22-11-2006, 02:05:AM Spector looked great against Palermo away on debut, superb against Arsenal and Blackburn and not flash against Chesterfield (but then who did). That's 3 out of 4 games that I've seen him play that he's been great, and I'd reckon he's probably only played 6-7 all up for us.
O-Car - Eggert seems to be this business, a football man with decent, if not obscene, amount of money to spend. He doesn't want to sell Upton Park like Joorabchian did and he isn't Terry Brown, so we've made out like bandits. I'm very excited.
Haha, we beat you.
You suck hermolt.
hermolt 22-11-2006, 01:50:PM Still a plastic club with plastic know nothing **** **** fans.
But enjoy your bought success and your millions upon millions of Asian fans, I'm sure it's all very fulfilling.
Carlos Tevez last night stormed off home in the huff after being substituted in the 1-0 West Ham win over Sheffield Utd.
Alan Pardew is reported to be unhappy with Tevez, but the Argentinian international is said to be unrepentant and remains in the huff, as is evident from this photograph taken of him at home this afternoon...

Deisler 03-12-2006, 05:56:PM This doesn't look good and it aint getting any better soon. :kader:
MaestroZidane 04-12-2006, 05:03:PM Tevez was actually playing very good yesterday, too bad the ball never reach the back of the net..
samuelbarros 09-12-2006, 07:35:PM 4-0 defeat to Bolton.
Haha, I hope you get relegated.
Deisler 10-12-2006, 04:53:AM Life was so easy without Tevez and Macherano man :nape:
pede54 11-12-2006, 07:11:PM And now Pardue has been sacked. 1=One week after the club were sold.
Media(tossers), are saying that Egert wants a high profile manager who knows the ropes, at home and in Europe. Sven Goran Erriksson has been mentioned as a likely replacement for Pardue. It seems that Egert thinks good ol' Sven has all the qualities that West Ham require.
Curbishley seems to be the fans favourite at the moment but it seems that Egert thinks that Curbs should have won something decent during all those years at Charlton.
There doesn't seem to be that many high profile managers that I can think of, free to employ at the moment. Although I think the chairman will set his sights higher than people such as Hoddle and Martin Allen.
I don't have a problem with the Hammers. Never have had. I hope it all works out in the end. Its been a crap season all round for West Ham so far and I hope it gets sorted very soon.
I find it difficult to understand why Pardue has to be the casualty though. The players themselves and the old boardroom have more mistakes to answer for than Pardue.
Deisler 11-12-2006, 07:27:PM Well its not that he could make the team click could he herr Pete? I mean yes when it is all said and done the players are the ones who play the games but come on he has an organic other coaches deam off ffs.
If we end un gettin Sven i should rest my hopes, we will survive the relegation. If not another season in second division awaits. Fvck, after all that hype last season. O well we beat Arsenal at least (6)
pede54 11-12-2006, 07:53:PM Sure I realise that its only the manager that CAN be sacked. Obviously getting out of the relegation zone is the priority now for the Hammers, so to secure a new coach who will take you up the table is all that matters for now. Good luck with that is all I say.
I wouldn't want to see West Ham relegated personally. I've got 15 family members who are regulars at the Irons games, so Christmas is already gonna be a pretty volatile affair as it is without relegation raising its ugly head.
Kulixs 12-12-2006, 12:12:AM I think it was a matter of Pardew not being able to get the players motivated that was the problem. Obviously doing so badly is not going to do the players confidence well, so with a change of manager might come a change of attitude and optimism for the players. Therefore I reckon West Ham will instantly peform better under a new manager, and Tevez will probably score his first goal within the first few games under their new manager. I hope West Ham stay up and get a quality manager, they've always been one of my favourite teams and I think the premiership is better with them in it.
Is Curbs out of his temporary retirement by January?
hermolt 12-12-2006, 10:12:AM And now Pardue has been sacked. 1=One week after the club were sold.

Pardew pardew pardew pardew pardew.
He lost the dressing room, Nigel Reo-Coker is a wideboy bell end who can die, he played Zamora far too much and didn't play the Argies enough. So long and thanks for all the fish.
pede54 12-12-2006, 06:29:PM Looks like it's gonna be Curbs. He and West Ham are thrashing out a deal right now.

MaestroZidane 24-02-2007, 08:11:PM Its been a while since anyone posted here, and after todays performance against charlon, who can blame you. From what I saw today, all I can say it's that the entire team lacks passion and heart. They seem like they have completely given up. You guys can still survive, but not if the entire team keep playing like ****e.
Deisler 04-03-2007, 07:08:PM We can't win a game :(
The relegation is now a reality, i doub't we can make it. Chances are getting slimer by the week. :(

hermolt 04-03-2007, 07:18:PM We were relegated already, so in that sense it really doesn't matter.
But come on - haven't we suffered enough?
Bobby 04-03-2007, 08:03:PM Some of the players are gambling 40, 50 thousand pounds on bus rides to matches.

Deisler 04-03-2007, 11:46:PM At this point i think our chances to stay in the prem are all gone. Nontheless i have a gutfeeling that we will have a good run at the end of the season. I do not know if it will be enough but at this point nothing can be enough.
Curbs to go.
Deisler 14-04-2007, 10:41:PM A 3-0 loss to Sheffield Untd and the season is gone. Relegation right after the UEFA cup. And we were the worst British team in the competition.
Hope next year we will be promoted again even though it won't be easy.
Go Hammers.
MaestroZidane 15-04-2007, 08:19:PM Sheffield united were dominant and played a great game. I just hope that they are able to put up a similar performance against ManU otherwise I will put them on my dislike list :read:
Deisler 08-05-2007, 03:19:PM We are 3 points clear from the relegation zone, and we play a team already crowned EPL champions. I don't see why we should,t at least get a point from them.
Go Hammers.
MaestroZidane 08-05-2007, 07:27:PM Fergie says that he will rest some of his players for tomorrows clash against chelsea. He will field his strongest side against west ham to show his respect for the relegation fight going on.

In other words, to beat the hell out of them. I dont see the point in letting relegation fodder take points off us on a title party day of all days. I want 4, 5 maybe six goals.
Deisler 08-05-2007, 11:49:PM Don't flatter yourself boy. Mark my words man. We will win 2-1.
No matter how political Sir Alex tries to be he sure as hell knows he would rather beat Chelsea and let us win rather than beat West Ham. Fergi ain't dumb he knows that the league is much better with the Hummers in than with the Latics.

Dont think so buddy. The players will be out to put on a show...there's no time for sympathy....after all...you DID beat us remember?? Besides, can't you still stay up if both you and Wigan lose?
EDIT: By the way, this isn't a good year for your fav teams eh? Munchen, Hammers, Yankees(WTF is going on with them man? All these damn hamstring injuries. The haters are enjoying it.)
Payaah 08-05-2007, 11:59:PM When was the last time United lost at Old Trafford? Not trying to be cocky but I doubt you will win. A draw maybe.
MaestroZidane 09-05-2007, 12:08:AM Nope, Charlton and watford are going down. The final spot will be decided by who ends up losing.
Payaah 09-05-2007, 12:14:AM West ham can stay up if both them and Wigan lose.

Agreed, the game in Manchester will be affected by the Latics result. Talent wise the Red Devils are stone ages ahead of the hammers. But i am sure they will NOT play their full capacity, tha Hammers have too.
EDIT: By the way, this isn't a good year for your fav teams eh? Munchen, Hammers, Yankees(WTF is going on with them man? All these damn hamstring injuries. The haters are enjoying it.)
Who cares man Rocket is Back (H) Him, Muss , Pettitte and when Hughes gets back will be awesome.
MaestroZidane 09-05-2007, 02:16:AM West ham can stay up if both them and Wigan lose.
Not really, I believe Wigan have a 2 goal difference. so a loss for both of them would mean that West ham get relegated
Hopeunited 09-05-2007, 03:03:AM Just a quick question to Hammers fans: Now that Pardew has departed, is Dave still sponsoring this thread?
Thanks, and good luck on the relegation battle, i.e. let's hope Wigan loses.
hermolt 09-05-2007, 07:18:AM Nah, Dave left his sponsorship behind. If I could put a new sponsor on it would be "Carlitos' neck scar" or "Pardew's adultery with Carl Fletcher's wife".
Anyways, I'm still not confident about staying up but we've been gorgeous to watch the past few weeks.
Thelonious 09-05-2007, 07:50:AM Not really, I believe Wigan have a 2 goal difference. so a loss for both of them would mean that West ham get relegated
West Ham are three point ahead though, the only way Wigan will stay up if they win.
I wouldn't worry about Wigan winning, they have Emile Heskey playing.
Nimreitz 09-05-2007, 08:13:AM Obviously it doesn't matter if Wigan wins or loses since West Ham will be docked points.
Hope to see you back next year :)
MikeyM 09-05-2007, 06:14:PM I know a post from a Man Utd fan will go over in this thread like a fart in an elevator, but I just wanted to say I do want to see West Ham maintain Premiership status.
I have watched West Ham several times on TV over the past two seasons and I have to say their style of play is usually easy on the eye. West Ham try to play football the right way, and as I said it's attractive to watch. Barring a screamer from Gerrard, you would have deservedly won last year's FA Cup final (one of the best I've seen) and again barring injury to key personnel I think you'd have been well away from the danger zone.
I don't think the court action will succeed, indeed it makes a mockery of the FA's power if it does.
Unfortunately fate has decreed that West Ham's survival hinges on a trip to Old Trafford so unfortunately that means I can't wish you luck against us (though I hope the other results go in your favour)
If the worst does happen, then I just want to say that I hope it's only a one season absence from the top flight (and providing you can keep the squad together I see no reason why it won't be)
Mike
MaestroZidane 09-05-2007, 06:35:PM West Ham are three point ahead though, the only way Wigan will stay up if they win.
I wouldn't worry about Wigan winning, they have Emile Heskey playing.
I was tired when I wrote that :(.
Well the most important scenarios are these:
A West Ham Win or draw keeps them up no matter what wigan do.
A west ham loss combined with a wigan win, relegates them due to goal difference.
Those are the only two scenarios that matter. I am one of those that would like to see them stay up. But well see what happens.
Edit: Ohh!! come on MikeyM, The title is yours, can't you spare a loss to good old west ham?? The team would much appreciated it and would surely take the team for a good dinner so they can celebrate afterwards ;) :p
MikeyM 09-05-2007, 06:48:PM Edit: Ohh!! come on MikeyM, The title is yours, can't you spare a loss to good old west ham?? The team would much appreciated it and would surely take the team for a good dinner so they can celebrate afterwards ;) :p
Well I could, but my mate at Work is a die hard Hammer and he'd be unbearable if you beat us twice in one season! - I suppose a draw is okay though :)
Mike
Deisler 11-05-2007, 04:22:AM Man the uncertainty is killing me. We have our destiny in our hands and here we are trying to survive against the league winners. I'd have prefered to play against Arsenal. :(
MaestroZidane 11-05-2007, 05:02:AM You beat them once, I'm pretty confident you will do it again. Tevez has gotten better and your team will be playing their hearts out..
Deisler 13-05-2007, 04:35:PM Both Wigan and Charlton are leading respectively Sheffiled Unt. and Liverpool 1-0. We have to hold on to the draw.

(H) Carlito's goal was one for the books. I loved how we fought. When Wigan scored it became clear we were going to to earn permanence by ourselves.
Green today was the best keeper in the EPL, simply awesome. He let nothing go by and that save on Ronaldos header was worth millions, about 80 mill (H)
I have no idea if Tevez will stay but at the level he has been playing i doubt it. Great teams will go into a bidding war to get his services.
O and Mancs....don't be upset even Arsenal got beaten TWICE :D

newbie original 13-05-2007, 08:02:PM Congratulations on staying up. I really enjoyed watching Carlos Tevez over the last few weeks of the season. Over the last few months, you guys played a game that's very easy on the eyes and I watched quite a few of the games (or atleast parts of them). Deserved to stay up....
Plus you stuck it to the Mancs TWICE:mexican:, and rained on their celebrations, by winning and SHUTTING THEM OUT.....AT HOME!!!! Always a good thing.
Now don't let them steal Tevez..Chelsea either!!
MaestroZidane 13-05-2007, 09:01:PM COngratulations on a deserved win and beating ManU twice this year. Tevez has proven to be the player that plays with true passion and has really help carry this team. Most likely he will end up leaving, but if he doesn't, he deserves (and has earned) every cent that you can offer him.
Thelonious 13-05-2007, 09:13:PM Congrats on staying up, thought you guys would get something out of the game.

MikeyM 13-05-2007, 10:48:PM If I was a West Ham fan, I'd be infuriated that my team is capable of playing like that - yet only do so four games a season (United and Arsenal). There is no way in hell West Ham should have been in the trouble they were in.
Tevez will look good in our #10 though :p
Seriously though, I'm glad West Ham stayed up - though you didn't have to beat us you know! :) Liked the guard of honour at the beginning, touch of class there.
Mike
Nimreitz 14-05-2007, 06:39:AM Ok I need to know what is going on here. I really hope you stay up, but what's the deal with the possible point deduction?
Help? 14-05-2007, 07:22:AM Sheff United and Wigan are bitter, so they are suing. Nothing will happen though and West Ham will still be around next year because the FA doesn't have the balls and if they went back on their decision now it would make them look like even bigger fools. Unless there is some other body can overrule the FA's decisions.
Nimreitz 15-05-2007, 03:28:AM FIFA probably could.
MaestroZidane 15-05-2007, 07:41:PM Its wrong that rather than accept defeat, they are suing so they can stay up. It is going to be a real shame If they end up staying up while west ham go down.
Whatever does happen though, I hope it happens fast because from what I hear, The uncertainty of who actually gets relegated may delay the beginning of the premiership.
Deisler 16-05-2007, 01:34:AM Sheffs are sad arses. They couldn't do it on the field and npw they decided they will do i legally.

Guaranteed spot in starting lineup at East London.....wonder whom he will be alongside on the bench at Madrid/Milan.
It wouldn't work at Barca if the Brazilian leaves, AND he goes there.
Moreira_Benfica 26-05-2007, 08:21:PM Skysports.com can reveal West Ham star Nigel Reo-Coker has handed in a transfer request.
The Hammers skipper has decided to ask for a transfer after a meeting with the club to discuss his future.
Reo-Coker, who helped the club achieve Premiership survival against all the odds, has decided to move for pastures new after he was not given the right assurances over his future by the club's board.
The dynamic midfielder's advisor Tony Finnigan confirmed Reo-Coker had handed in the transfer request and he expressed his surprise that West Ham were willing to let the player leave Upton Park.
"I can confirm that Nigel Reo-Coker has officially handed in a transfer request with West Ham United football club," Finnigan told skysports.com
"Nigel hopes his future will be resolved in the next few weeks.
" I am surprised that a 22-year-old Londoner who is captain of his club is being allowed to leave.
"As I said on Sky Sports in January, Nigel would get his head down and work to keep West Ham in the Premiership.
"And that is exactly what he did with 100 per cent commitment.
"At the end of the day he never felt wanted but I am sure he will have a bright future elsewhere."
