Dear friends

Just wondering if any of you think there is market for a game where you can play fifa but also have to manage the team using the options that championship manager has?

Probably a crap idea really...

Is it hot chocolate time yet?

I think they had a deal to purposely make Fifa with awesome graphics and make CM ultra realistic...
So they can earn our money.
I exposed them!

dear friend

I knew it was a crap idea really. I think its time for another cup of tea.

By the way, is it possible to import new stadiums into this top game? I'm sure you've got the answer!

peace love and pg tips

Of course it's possible, patch makers did it for fifa 2000, they put stadiums from euro 2000 into fifa 2000. So, why not for fifa 2001?

A few others and myself have been banging on about this since the shameful Sensible World of Soccer was released on the PC. Amiga version was great.

There is a game called Euro League Football which is very ambitious it combines a full management game with a simulator so you can play your own matches. Sadly, whilst the graphics are very good, the game engine is appalling. It could have been so much better if the developers had worked on it for another 6 months.

The player faces are better than in FIFA, they look much like IRL.

I find the game far to easy if I play Liverpool, but far to difficult if I should play a team like Wrexham or Cardiff City. This because player skills are so important.

In FIFA player skills doesn't matter to much if you know how to play. Winning the CL could be done with Beitar Jerusalem or any other side with low skills in FIFA.

Mixing this with Champions Manager and I'll win the CL with Liverpool's Youth Team!

I wouldn't buy such a game. I like the CM concept of the players playing the game out themselves.

As a CM addict as well I agree on the last point. But it would be nice to actually watch the game played out. I've played for endless days and I've got a pretty vivid imagination but it would be a nice change of pace to actually watch the game played and they could actually use the on-field camera angles in a game for a change.
