Yesterday we just beat the Ivory Coast 3:1 in Poznań. First win since March:-D Lewandowski with the double:blueball: and Obraniak with a magnificent free-kick.

Because they signed Probierz as a head coach. He's the most "talented" coach of young generation in my opinion and should land in top Polish club really soon.

Well, Jagiellonia was a big suprise last season with Probierz. Their had -10penalty points for match selling and finished in half of the table, plus won the national cup. Now without Grosicki there aren't as good and I think they will finish somewhere around 5th position.

But still they have players that mean something in the league. I'd love to see them chasing Wisła till the end, but there must be fulfilled one condition - they must return to the level they used to play in the first part of the season.

How often do you visit league matches and how much do the tickets cost? Wisla is really "big" here at the moment cause of their new goalie and as much as I've seen the highlights the fans and the atmosphere seem fantastic...

Tickets aren't very expensive. For example tickets on Wisła cost about 10euros, Lech costs ~15, Legia ~18.
Ticket prices are determined on basis of rival class, so for top matches (Lech - Legia or Legia - Wisła for instance) they are a bit higher.

European matches in Poznan had a price of ~30-35 euros per ticket.

Smuda sent a call-up to Eugen Polanski. Our coach has no honour and respect for the national team and for its fans. This guy (Polanski) told the press he feels much more German than Polish and has no intention to play for Poland ever. And lately, he has changed his mind and now he's in Legnica with our team preparing to friendly game against Georgia on Wednesday. This is insane! I hate the coach and this team which is now more international than Polish. I hate modern football.

He never had it. Recently he prepared all the documents to grab the citizenship. Apart for that, he considers himself as a German and plays for Poland. Shameful for our team.

Poland play Mexico on September 2nd and Germany on September 6th. Both games will show how far we are from the level that we need to be on. I don't see our team having any chance to defeat any of those two teams, especially Germany, which have never been defeated by us, NEVER!

At least we won't face Germany in the group stage, they will probably be seeded and Spain too when they qualify.

Still there should be a clause when hosting tournaments that the host nation(s) will develop a competitive team. Stupid to have host teams eliminated in the group stage, like in Euro 2008 and wc2010.

Well previously the only team not to make it out of the group stage was Belgium in euro 2000. All other teams did it before.

Ukraine may have better players but definitely is not better as a team. Nevertheless, they have bigger chances to qualify further than we have at the moment.

It's so unfair. Some of people live in Poland for years, they children were born here, they have a job and plan to stay in this country forever but can't get the citizenship, when a fag like Perquis gets it just like that. It's freaking unbelievable. Besides, he won't help our team much, so, it's even more pointless.

Hey I saw a video press conference interview with Podolski speaking in Polish and German, on Gazeta.pl wearing a dark grey German shirt, but it had Polish words written on it. I could only see the first line which said "CIESZYMY SIE NA" which is "we're happy for"... ?

I just saw the interview on TV. The text says "we are happy for EURO 2012".

K**** ** ***! :( That's all i can say about the result. And it was a draw. We were this close and we had the lead twice! :(

Even more, we played with 10-men throughout the rest of the game and we scored the goal. That's something new for us. :(

I have a feeling we will repeat this same match at the Euros group stage except with only 2 mins added time instead of three and with all 11 men on the pitch. With us finally winning against Germany. :(

All 14 qualifiers are the top 14 seeds in the overall UEFA NT coefficients. Ukraine is 15th with 28,029 pts. Poland is 28th with only 23,806. :(

That means we all know who will be the punching bag come summer. (H)
