Some very good transfers BVB executed. Ebi will rival for a place in starting 11 with really good players like Valdez, Pienaar or Frei. But I think Mr. van Marwijk likes him so it will be not such difficult. :ewan:

They finally got some decent strikers up front and the youngsters are more experienced. After his impressive WC Metzelder should get back his starting spot (if he stays injury free of course). There's a big question mark concerning Weidenfeller's health status.
Van Marwijk has extended, good move. He's a great coach. (Y)

The big four (Bayern, Bremen, Schalke, Hamburg) should be out of reach so they should be fighting it out for the last Uefa Cup spot with the likes of Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Hertha.

Tomorrow we play against Borussia in a friendly, kinda getting used to to see Pienaar in yellow/black in stead of red/white :o
Gonna be a good game I think, we are getting stronger every day so it's a good test. Goodluck (Y)

Congrats with the victory guys :ewan:
I must say we were not bad, Huntelaar scored the first goal (of course), BVB won thanks to a penalty but that's football.
I heard that the bus of BVB broke down on the way to Ludenscheid and our bus picked up your players, must've been one big party in there with Pienaar and the our team (H)

Posted this in the Bayern Munich thread.

Gol Tv is showing Bundesliga games now. They showed the German Cup matches today and I think they're showing Friday games during the season.

the team has always **** their pants when they had a chance to do something.. this is a chance and I hope they dont **** themselves again!

Dortmund have reduced their debts by €100M in the past two years. They should be back at least in the top 5 soon but I hope they've learned their lesson.

We lost!! ****

anyway, almost every article BVB is mentioned in says something about the financial situation. quiet frankly im sick of it. so many teams are in debt much more than bvb that it isnt even an issue anymore. barca was over 250 million before last season, arsenal is 250 and numerous other giants are in debt.

You weren't really the worse side, in fact, Dortmund dominated the game especially in the second half and had more ball possession. But they failed to create any danger inside the penatly box.

Frei was ****, it seems he plays with zero confidence. Pienaar isn't ready for the playmaking position.
Tyrala made his debut. (Y)

I only saw the second half. And indeed Dortmund played better, but Gladbach had more chances to score, Kahe could have easily scored two more goals, still he failed. From dortmund, i only remember a nice Smolarek shot , and a great play by Dede.

Seen the game on Setanta and Dortmund really should have been two up at half time.

Frei didn't look the part at all and in the second half there just wasn't any creative spark.

Hannover at home next.

My fav. team in Germany. I admire Dortmund's tribunes. They are excellent.Their colours like Fnerbahçe's. Also Turkish player Nuri Sahin's team. And look at this, great!!!!Properly -->Curva...

:)

Dortmund won 3-1 against Cottbus today.

Our goals came from Brenner x2 and Frei (THANK GOD)

Ricken set up Brenner twice. He scored two goals but was still a sorry as defender. A good result that we can build on next friday against bochum who got handled 6-0 by Bremen. I predict a struggle and a draw.

3 - 2.

Rumanian Vlad Monteanu scored in the last minute for Cottbus in a penalti. Vragel da Silva made the first goal :)
