I've got the demo and i'm getting a little bored of that.
Everyone says there have been masses of improvements, does te demo not have these?
the pitch ISN'T much bigger, players are still too fast, its too easy to go pass people, and now i can score from 40-50 yards each time i try, i got 6 goals with lauren on the demo.


So is it really worth it?

So specific reason. I am just protesting FIFA 2001 for them keeping some countries and leagues out of the competition.

I have not played the game, but apperantly the game itself sucks anyway. So I am not paying 29.99£ for this game, I will try to get a cheaper one, i.e 2£ - 3£,

The demo is in amatuer mode, it's for kids, that's why you can score goals easily.
At first when i got the demo, i thought, the pitch isn't any bigger and i made a topic on that, people start replying that, once we change the camera angle, the pitch will look bigger, yup, that's true. You could also play with a slower speed and that is just so cool. Moreover, i played Direct IP with my friends and that was really fun. Maybe more people will post on your topic to give more opinions. Overall a great game, too bad they lack a few lisences for some countries.

Because, when you d/l the camera patch, and use it ... the pitch is A LOT BIGGER !!!
And you can ''play'' better soccer because of this !!!

What you are saying about they didn't include some teams ... It's because the teams wouldn't agree to include them, they haven't got the license, so it isn't EA's fault !!!

- Overall, i would say this game is a lot better as its precedents !!

here's a list why u shouldn't buy it:

- tackles and slidings are still awefull, they are soooooo unrealistic(going through players, sliding while you're standing still, tackling and sliding from 3 metres away etc.)

- it simply doesn't feel like football

- through balls aren't really through balls, they are normal passes but 1 metre ahead of the player (1 meter!)

- AI is horrible, I don't mean the AI of the other team (that AI is bad too) but the AI of your team. They don't make runs when you want them to and the defenders follow the attackers so that sometimes you will see that your defenders are all standing on line in the penalty area while you are trying to get the ball on midfield, this doesn't happen in real football.)

- bycicle kicks

- special moves

- this one is difficult to explain but: when you get the ball it will play an animation(u can't do anything when it does that) so that the player of the other team can tackle you. This happens a lot, the animation so you can't do anything thingie, get it?

- I just played an online game against a friend, it was 4-2 for him the first game and 3-2 for me the second game, of the 11 goals scored in two games(!) 5 were scored using bycicle kicks. Also, all the six goals in the first game were replicas(try to get to the line, then cross and head/bycicle kick the ball in the net). 3 goals in the second game were also scored like that.

- it's hardly an improvement

- the stupid ingame tactic things to make your computer players do something, this is just to hide the bad AI, just try ISS

- EA is ripping you off again

I think I could go on and on on this, but these were(I think) the most annoying things
