maleato 25-07-2006, 01:44:AM Now we're completely ****ed.
remembers me Mauro Galvćo as Botafogo's coach in 2004...
big al 25-07-2006, 02:21:AM well for me he has been one of favourite defensive players of all time ; he was almost tacticly a perfect player; lets hope he can apply that to his couching abilities; lets see what he does with the team;
I like it. It's nice to have something new, plus if he turns out to be a crap manager, we can fire him and bring another one before it's too late. Remember Felipćo got our team two years before or less the 2002 World Cup and we won it.

Well, at least we have no way to be sure he will screw up badly through friggin inertia, like it was with Parreira. (Y) Just thinking of him by the sidelines, pulling Scolari-worth performances :p
PS: I find this even more shocking than Dunga's appointment considering the current circumstances - Parreira set for South Africa (http://www.football365.com/news/story_189218.shtml)
Mauricio 25-07-2006, 03:36:AM Does he has any experience?
Kibe Kru 25-07-2006, 03:48:AM Nope, this is his first side he coaches.
Paulo Da Silva 25-07-2006, 04:40:AM thats a big gamble dont you guy think?
jimorrizon 25-07-2006, 05:05:AM :nape: ....
Jannes 25-07-2006, 06:02:AM like klinsmann. :D
thats a pathetic decision.
Klobb 25-07-2006, 11:29:AM DUNGA - great name.
::shinji:: 25-07-2006, 11:36:AM he was a great player
Fernandez 25-07-2006, 11:47:AM Who knows? He might win WC.
Lennon 25-07-2006, 03:00:PM Great news for the other national teams in South America (H)
bRaZo0kA 25-07-2006, 03:30:PM i guess we will only find out after a couple games...but u cant even tell with that, cuz everyone knows brazil plays for real only when its a game that means something...sh!t we even hear crap that brazil dont play for real in qualifers...but oh well. i guess well let globo decide this for us.
bRaZo0kA 25-07-2006, 03:47:PM if u guys really think about it, anyone can coach the NT, all that has to be done is what parreira did not do...which is stand on the sideline and scream and motivate the players. if u noticed in the world cup, the players played wit no motivation becuz there was simply no one on the sideline screaming at them, making them feel like the world cup is important...u can put any coach to train the brazil team and they will be the best in the world becuz of the squad they have. so simply u just need some1 with enough credentials to stand on the sideline and scream at the players....i nominate myself!
Mauricio 25-07-2006, 04:14:PM The player dont even hear you in the field belive me, the motivation is in the locker room and in training days not outside, you have to be already motivated before the match and if u are not thats why half time exist (wel, one of the reasons)
WilliamFAlmeida 25-07-2006, 08:02:PM I like dunga and all....and I hope he succeeds...
this seems to be the new trend in football...footballing legends becoming coaches...
van basten and kilnsman all did well- let's hope Dunga does the same
Kibe Kru 25-07-2006, 10:43:PM heh, maybe he'll do a Mathaus, since he was closer to his position when playing?
BRAZIL'S_#9 25-07-2006, 10:49:PM Hope de great captain does well, but I really want Felipao back on de sidelines...
now dat guy gives out his heart during every single game.
total CLASS...
