I've used unidb to alter retirementage, and have deleted the d.squads file, but when a new season starts, the game crashes whilst scheduling the new season plz help...

I have also changed the amount of money sponsors give after each game, and nothing else so i dont think fifa.db is corrupted

I have also got the update v1.1

The players dont think about retirement and none are going to retire anytim soon, but after the first season the game keeps crashing

If you've increased retirementage above a certain level (about 45 or 46, I'm not sure) then it is no surprise that the game crashes because there are calculations being done that will be using values potentially out of the valid range.

i just dont understand why some people want to alter the retirement age... the game is at many parts unrealistic already, stopping a player from retiring ? thats bull crap.... at least test your skill in scouting and searching for newer talents on the market

I have used 44 as retirementage and it still doesnt work.
By the way i've changed retirementage for all players to be 44, could this be the problem? I've tried alternating 44, 42 to combat this but it doesnt work.

Also when the new season is loading, it gets to 50% where it says scouting before it crashes.]

I didn't chenged any thing of that matter but I'm haveing the same problem. The game crashes at 79% of the "sceduling" actually it is crashes over the "scouting".

I tried to reinstall the game but it didn't helped.

Any ideas?

Hi, This is just a guess, but I wonder if there are a certain number of new players that are created to replace retired players after each season. You may be having roster issues if a team has too many players on a team that you are not controlling. You may need to have a minimal amount retire each year. You may want to update the retirement age of your favorite players and leave the rest alone.

I use unidb and ms Access to update the table_players table. There is a column called "retirementage" that holds the age in which they retire.
