From the sounds of it in the magazine, they say it's possibly going to beat PES. They said for the first time ever in a FIFA game, when they were told to stop playing after 4 hours none-stop, they were gutted! The ball physics are better and from what I saw in a screenshot, it showed $ not points, which means it's real cash guys.

You can bend corners now, goal keepers have loads more animations and players' like Ronaldinho, C ronaldo, Carlos, etc have their skill moves, Carlos has his free kick as will Lapard (both mentioned), so I'm guessing Becks will too!

'Glory mode' in the game is cool. Once you start winning 3, 4-0, the game realises you're the winning team and the animations of certain players' become rather 'show-off' like. It says 'cheekier' animations for passing, crossing, shooting, etc......but they said the game IS simulation and an interview with the guys in charge at EA say they didn't want the goalkeeping and shooting from the World Cup game. It says that shooting is based on more factors from;

they say if shooting isn't satisfying, your game is going to struggle, meaning they've really tried to make it rewarding. " we tried to simulate real football, so nailing the ball physicals was vital. For instance, spin is now integrated, so people can shank, slice and screw shots all over the place. FIFA 07 looks like it'll play really great, i actually have high hopes now. yeah yeah every year but each fifa has gotten better from 2003 so i bet 06 is actually what these guys as gamesmaster are sayin and that is that its a revolutionary for fifa and the best yet by far

First of all EA should solve these:

- Resolve the problems related to field size (too big) that make the game too easy to beat due to the slowness of players movements in the Fifa engine (or, more easy: re-introduce possibility of edit freekicks reducing the field size through ai.ini).
- Reintroduce more customization through ini files for the gameplay.
- Remove the limitation to have tournaments in career from the first years only if they have an id below 90.
- Remove the fifa.fat limitation problem.
- Introduce the same stadium structure of Fifa Manager through xml files (huge customization, possibility to easily elaborate a stadium for each one of the teams).

With these modifications and the sure improvements that EA will add to the game engine Fifa 2007 can be a jewel. For rosters updates, more leagues etc. etc. the community will have the work of the editors.

I did not write a faster game, a wrote about players movements speed: they are wrong compared to field size. What is too fast in the game is the ball dynamics and physics, but this can be easily fixed through the inis, what can't be fixed is how players run on field making almost easy to reach them.

Of course in a more general way you can say you need a slower game, and so is, but the players movements need to be faster, believe me: look how impossible is to receive the ball on counter attacks and reach the box with your forwarder or (more impossible) for the CPU forwarder.

the 10 things i want fixed in FIFA 07 is

1. The refs are always super biased and act like there paid by the non-player team for example im on the breakaway then the defender comes and pulls myplayer back for like 1 min which should be a stright red card (cause i was on a breakaway) and than he puses my guy and takes the ball and the ref does nothing and i just touch the guy and the ref imediaetly gives them a free kick also the other teams like to slide tackle myplayers from behind push themoff the ball alot of obstruction and thelsit goes on and the ref doesnt call nothing and when i do stuff like that (not as bad as they do) the ref calls it EVERY time whcih pisses me off and needs to be fixed to wher ethe ref is unbiased towards the non player team.

2. the graphics of the game are horrible there a little better graphics than PS1 and the jerseys are so horribly made its nto even funny and they dont even have the player names in actual font (though the font for the numbers was poor to) and the fields to are horribly graphiced thats the main thing they need to improve cause it looks horrible (for the PC version the kits dont matter but me im gettin it for PS2)

3. the most annoying thing about this game (and probably any other soccer game) the run speed of all the players are almost exactly the same take for example thierry Henry hes supposed to be probably the fastest or very close to thefastest player in the world and in the game i play some reject no name team and somehow like all there players are able to mathc the speed or even go faster than henry which is very stupid and pisses me off.

if they made the player speed system better than the game would definetly be more realistic.

4. not that big of an issue but for doing transfers they should have a "Free agency pool" where you can put all the retired players or players who went to teams not in the game can be placed so you can keep the game rosters up to date

5. the gameplay is so crap compared to Winning Eleven (PES) i hope that FIFA 07's gameplay can equalise ot even be better than the PES series but since i first played PES 5 i dont really play any FIFA game no more cause everything except the lack of teams in PES is way better than any FIFA game

6.they should bring back the create a team thingthey had in FIFA 2001 (i think) so u can create teams that are not in the game and create the players that would be on that team (or if there already in tehg ame put themthere)or for w.e reasons u want.

7. itll be to f you could edit what teams are in what elague so u can update the teams oif each league like EPL you know 3 teams get relegated and 3 promoted it would be cool to be able to edit the league and change theteams that are in it so u can update the the teams whogot relegated/promoted

8. i miss the old school indoor fields they ahd in past games like the one in 2001 i think or w/e it was where it was a tiny grass like one.

or the cool wooden basketball like indoor field court thing they had in FIFA 97 for genesis (notsure which game) that field/court was so sweet iloved playing gamesin that field its so much fun i wish they can bring that back into FIFA 07 (10 years later lol)

9. make the skill stick moves alot easier to do and add alot more tricks you can do b/cthe tricks in FIFA 06 are so hard to do and they barely work iuts not even worth using the skill sticka nd idont mean just adding 1 signature trick used by players just add alot ofcommon tricks used not neccesarrily all deaking tricks you can add like cool passing tricks or anyothe kind of trick would be nice.

10. it would be nice if you could edit the rules of the game and customize it to your likeing no i dont mean turning something on or off i mean actually change how the rules work or something like that i.e for offside u can go with the old rule where when the ball is passed ot the offside player even if he doesnt touch ti its offside or u can have it set to the new rule where the offside person has to touch the ball b4 its called or just tweak the likelyness of the ref calling a offside like for example have if u move theslider more to the left itll make the ref more unlikly to call and offside and like miss alot fo offsides or any fouls period and like make the wrong decision on throw in whos team it goes to, etc. and to the right the ref gets more smarter and doesnt miss/make the wrong calls etc. etc. something along the lines of that

imsure with these changes FIFA 07 WOULD BE alot BETTER and attract old fans back and those who went from playing FIFA to PES to come back to FIFA again

2. Disagree, the players proportion are not good as in PES and maybe faces lack of details, but you never say a 2gk kit from one of the best soccergaming kitmakers then.
3. Completely agree, there's something wrong about players movements in game. The video of Fifa 2007 seems sadly the same thing.

5. Agree, but check some gameplays first.

About the suggestions on the game, what koinek said is totally true, nothing of what is written above is going to be taken into consideration what so ever, EA has closed the "invisible" suggestion box they have on their "site"! so any comments are going to be used on FIFA 08 if and only if EA decides to listen to people who are actually buying the game.

GamesMaster are English and absolutely LOVE their PES games, but here's a quote from what they said about FIFA 07;

So there you go, GM are always lovin the footy realism of PES, but as you can read above, they wanted to keep playing FIFA 07 and that's the first time they've felt that way about a FIFA game. So fingers crossed that the final code will only be better, because I would imagine that EA let them play earlier code then what they were working on.

So please, stop saying how great PES is and how FIFA had ALREADY let you down after seeing what was most likely early beta footage that has been taken off of Gamespot links (but is probably still on their server somewhere) and I bet because EA told them too!
