Who know when demo will be out?

Just wait damn it ! They didn't even announced what teams and leagues will be added yet. We might know that Turkish will but it's not announced and no known teams for Rest of Europe. Last year demo was out somewhere in mid august.

By this time last year we knew a lot of info than this year. I think it will be ready end of August or beginning of September.

We have to wait for another 1 week or less.

There's a rumour about it coming out Sep 1st but it's just that. But past years demos where released about the same time and pc demo usually is about a month before release so it should be within next few days.

We have already talked about it: Out netwerk 'Fifatainment' has been at the 'Games Convention' in Leipzig for you. Adi has been able to play the game for more than two hours and has forwarded the questions of you to EA. Marcel Kuhn of EA Canada has answered them. The most interesting facts I want to list up here:

- The FIFA 07 Demo will be released about 2 weeks before the realease of FIFA 07.
- The PC version includes no NextGen graphic but an improved Core engine.

- A carriere with two players is possible again, a unlockable level of difficulty has been added, the "Legend Mode".

- News stadiums are among others the Olympic Stadium Berlin, the Veltins Arena of Schalke and the in reality not finished new Wembley Stadium.

- The Turkish League is included, there heve been added more teams from South America and in the "Rest of the World" Pool.

- The Gameplay has been improved a lot. Ball reception and player moves are smoother and more realistic. The game is slower and is played more like a simulation now. You have thousands of possibilities to play the game and are not enforced moves. The ball physic has been "completely renewed" (quotation Kuhn), you can choose have different kind of shots. If you push the button for passes longer or faster it will have an effect to the stenght and expanse of the pass.

- Dynamic weather effects have definitively been added. It might happen that you will be surprised by a pelting rain if you start at dusk.

- Interactive Leagues, it works: 3-4 days before the real match in the reality you get informed that the game you can play this game. All (e.g.) "VfB Stuttgart players" can play their matches against the "FC Bayern players" until the real match has started. The team which got most of wins get three points in the official EA Sports Interactive Bundesliga.

In my opinion this sounds very well! The detailled and full overview about the answers of EA Sports (in German language) you get at this thread of the Fifaboards or at gfo2006.de.

So, about this info, leaving the September 1st rumour, and if the game release is for September 29th, the demo can be out September 15th.

Again the same thing with no next-gen graphics for pc...pfff...at the end the x1900xtx and the 7900gtx will die of boring.......I think that this is the same that happends now with pro evolution soccer.....this kind of agreement between Microsoft and Konami and EA, for dont to put next-gen graphics on pc and force you to buy a 360 if you want to get them......pure marketing.

To be more precises, They've added: ball spin control, 1500 new animations and a back spin physic for the ball, which can be very huge when it comes to gameplay feel, but this doesnt mean a new game or anything close to FIFA 07 on Xbox 360. :)

The information is that the FIFA 07 Demo will probably be released later today or early in the morning tomorow if FIFA passes the last test which is ATI Graphics cards support which is being tested at this moment.

If it plays great on the PC then i'll be getting a 360 as there won't be a massive difference in gameplay, apart from the ball being separated, but if it's unresponsive like all the other fifa's, all be back playing PES for the 4 year straight.

There was a post by an admin at ea's forum explaining the shole situation, there was a Sep 6th date set about a month ago but never leaked as they might not publish it then. That's the inside info rumoured to be 'sure thing', anyways we'll know the demo is out when it's out, it never was officially announced as I remember.

So there is no demo?

I had read that EA was working in this past two days to fix some problems with ATI cards...as always....so maybe this problems are not solved yet, it can be the delay reason.

I'm probably one of the oldest FIFA fans here :) I play FIFA since 95th year of the last century. I saw many, many videos of this one... I heard many, many stories during last six years. Improvements this year = yes. Enough of them = no, I'm afraid :( Maybe for xbox, but that's another story.

Fifa 98 had the best gameplay to date and fifa 97 is the most fun and simple (as in when you push a button your player does exactly what he should do) game I ever played.

My friend's uncle works for EA Guatemala and 14 minutes ago he told me that they've been informed by EA Botswana that the demo will be released on the 10th of September 2006. Demo size will be only around 600 Megabytes to make sure that users with 56k modems will play it as soon as possible and it will have many unique features:
- It is playable
- Play one half for 4 whole minutes + around 5-10 seconds of stoppage time.
- Manage to score the same goal over and over again by the same player with the same celebration after a few matches.
- Automatically generate a post on SG about how realistic the game is and make everybody happy.

In Fifa 06, I had the same goals being scored over and over and over and over and over and over in Manager Mode, that I didn't even complete one full season of that piece of ****. -If the same man scores the same gol twice he will be executed by the ref and substitute immediately

Release date: as soon as Castro manage to win the first game........

The fact that you're tired of waiting doesn't mean that you can spam the FIFA 07 Demo thread. Because yes, you're both spamming and bumping for no reason at all.

There's an off-topic forum for this purpose, and new members will be disheartened if while reading a thread about something that interests them see that 1 out of 2 posts is useless.

EA has already mentioned that they're not releasing any demos or patches on weekends. And official word is that the demo got postponed due to errors in testing. Considering the workload EA puts on its employees and the criticism FIFA 07 is already getting, as it was expected "unofficially" this Wednesday, we shall have the demo in our hands either tomorrow (Monday) or sometime later this week.

In the worst case, ATI owners won't be able to see a thing in-game (the error in the demo came up while EA had announced it was doing testing with ATI graphics cards), but... Oh well.

If you're running a business, there's always the factor of risk. And things can go wrong in testing, so September 29th is a safe date for them to complete testing, correct whatever's wrong, get the game gold and to the stores.

So, my bet, no. We may have a delayed demo, but not a delayed release.

Probably wont get it till the 15th ( Thats my guess ) which is Two weeks out from the official release date of the game. Not much point in releasing it a couple of days out from that. :jambo:

I dont think that demo dont will let see anything if you are an ATI user, due the cause of the delay is that problem with ATI card, then they are trying to fix it and they will dont release the demo until the problem will be solved...that´s the cause of the delay. It will be a big mistake if demo, or finally, the game, will does not run on an ATI card, and they know it....so, delay until game works fine with ATI cards

Well I have an ATI Card in my PC one of the best even :p so they better make sure that I can use it, knowing EA they will come with a patch or smth.
Mind you the pitch in Fifa WC06 was very dark already (:/) and that had something to do with ATI as well WTF :nape::kader:

For ATI cards there is a WC06 patch which solve the problem

So I guess the demo can only be expected next week. At least they're saying they're still doing testing. AFAIC, they can test it all they want, and even more than that. I want a game without FIFA 06 bugs. I'm tired of waiting for the demo anyway, I'll just scrap that and get the full release, which, as it seems, will come just a few days after the demo.

And I'm not talking about the game's release date. That's fixed. I'm talking about the demo's.

So that means that we have to wait 3 days for the demo...for the 15th september...

acording to ea downloader the demo is avaliable to download but I've been trying to download it since last night and so far 2% is done of 657mb so it should be finished by the time the game is released...

Thats because theres probably millions of people trying to download it all at once. Needed to get there earlier or just wait. :)
