Mainly english and important world transfers done (ie aimar, viera, etc). German, holland etc probably not updated enough to bother if your from those countries.

i've been playing with a FM2006 optionfile posted by pubb somewhere on this site and i think that some players are really weird.
Fabio Aurelio is the best example:

i also think that we will never get close to stats perfections... i don't see resources to do such work...
but that's the point in the game.. i mean.. stats are the soo much important... altering these you can really say you're playing a different game!
there must be more that 2000 players in pes... to judge them truthfully we will need a specific forum (think that's possible) with LOTS of people really cooperating (think that's IMPOSSIBLE).

Fabio Aurelio is a special case in the stats conversion, but having played with him numerous times he doesnt perform as well as you would expect with those stats, i mean hes still pretty sluggish compared to the likes of henry etc.

Nah, i agree m8 and also sumtimes players performance in terms of speed can be of a lesser pace than indicated by one's stats ie. Obafemi Martins has 99 speed in his stats but on the pitch he duzn't appear 2 be very fast, and can't seem 2 outpace anyone.

It must be something to do with the faces used in that patch. I would reccomend superpatch anyway.

*veron not in inter milan anymore, he now plays in estudiantes de la plata (argentina)
*guerrero not in bayern munchen anymore, he's now in hamburger sv(also germany)
*salcido (mexico) --> psv
*e. mendez (ecuador) --> psv
*vargas (peru) --> portsmouth
*ibrahimovic not in juventus, now in inter milan
*larsson not in barca anymore
*g. dos santos (mexico u-17) is now part of the barca first team squad
*serginho (ac milan) i think is not a striker, the same in the case of solano (newcastle), he is a midfielder.
*aldo i think you could edit ribèry (france) and farfan (psv) stats, they are really underrated.
*also ailton, takahara and barbarez are not part of hamburger sv anymore
*you could also create s. aguero (argentina), he now plays in atletico de madrid.

fiore is no longer with fiorentina but valencia
brocchi from fiorentina to milan
jimenez left fiorentina...maybe in a few days goes to lazio

Yeah Aurelio, he is a topic of conversation with the FM2006 stats. The conversion leaves him much better than most ppl think he is. But actually playing with him, because he isnt super fast he doesnt seem that great.

btw owen hargreaves not yet go MU hehe... haha u MU fan no wonder u transfer first hehe... hope MU can get him in the end... but sure damn EXPENSIVE because bayern dont want to sell he is contracted till 2010

And for Fabio Aurelio, the stats in fmcache.fmc is very strange. I can see it both in official offline editor and fmscout with a few savedgame, many of the stats are increased by 2.
The following is what I got from pre-game FM stats by hand, converted with the same formulas, in pesfan-editor order.

i release this option file because i think there are others out there who may appreciate it. I do the transfers for myself because i like to play with latest teams. I purely put it on here for those lazy ppl who cant be bothered to do it themselves. Its not a comprehensive option file.

ok lets clarify, this option file is using Fm2006 stat cache from 6 months ago. Now a lot of younger players have improved since then and as a result i have added 1-3 points on every stat for certain players. for example rooney has been improved by 2 points in every department, also walcott has been improved in all departments by 3 points except speed as he was already 96.

I do with this with most younger players who are known to of improved over the past 6 motnhs. other players are carrick 2points, ronaldo 1 point, tevez 1point etc etc. I think you get the idea, it improves the stats in my view, if you guys do not like it then download another option file.

After renaming the option file so it works with winning eleven 9, the players seem correct, but a lot of the premiership kits are all black. Can anyone advise me on what i am doing wrong please.

thats weird mate, something wrong with kitserver perhaps? i have not edited any kits on this option file. so it must be kitserver. try reinstalling it
