If it goes to red then every shot goes over, and you can't score direct off a free kick.

Fifa 2000 is better is this regard.

Shots go over? Thats GOOD, in FIFA 2000 all but the odd one or two were on target (very unrealistic) but if they go over (or wide) now, thats damn good.

Well...I'm quite dissapointed with the game too. I must admit it has nice graphics improvements, but the gameplay is still not good enough.

About the shot power bar you mentioned, it's not true that you can't score if the bar goes red. In fact, I have scored 3 goals with the bar in red. How ? Just hold down the "down" direction button while pressing shoot. Practice makes perfect http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
