dipset 08-08-2006, 03:18:PM what happened to the masssive improvements in BALL PHYSICS :kader:
justhammy 08-08-2006, 03:23:PM Ow come on guys, this looks far more realistic then the other Fifa's. look at the midfield. Its full of players and you really have to pass your way trough. The heading is also good from what i v seen in this vid. It looks promising! Lets wait till we play the game ourself, then decide!
dipset 08-08-2006, 05:20:PM well im sorta hating and i;ll tel u why, b/c in every interview they said that they were rebuilding this franchise from the ground up, but this looks more ike few adjustments, i gues i cant complain bout the ball physics yet b/c those clips were only 40 secs . but the clips really dont look like a massive rebuild of fifa.
NK FOOTBALL © 08-08-2006, 06:00:PM Well it all depends if it is rewarding, fun and challenging. It's all about how it 'feels'. If it provokes emotion, then that is good.
So far it looks better, not a MASSIVE difference, so all this hype must be coming from the way it feels when you play the game (and quite rightly so). So videos don't show this, wait for the playable demo, rather than a video demonstration! :jap:
NK.
NK FOOTBALL © 08-08-2006, 06:02:PM I personally am waiting for the new game engine on the Xbox 360. So far that's all Joe Booth has said about next generation FIFA 07.
I bet THAT looks different in video form ;)
NK.
Maichal1616 08-08-2006, 06:30:PM It seems improved. Although the players are still too stiff and robot-like, their movement is actually more life like. Play a match in Fifa06 and look how the players move with their arms stretched forward and their knees bent in an unrealistic way. Look at how they always make the same retarded pass with the inside of their foot. Look at the scripted shots, always the same animation, always the same shot power, curve and aim. Now this footage of Fifa07 is definitely too short to make any conclusions, but it doesn't look half as bad. It's a bit too fast as always, but then Fifa has always had the option to vary the gamespeed. It might acutally turn out to be a decent game. But then the hype was all there with Fifa06, building from scratch, concentrating on gameplay etc. etc. etc, but it was still quite disappointing gameplay-wise. And the previews always seem to be a bit over the top so we really need that demo to try it out ourselves.
WilliamFAlmeida 08-08-2006, 06:32:PM anyone read the interview? What a loser this writer is.
The interactive leagues looks like a sweet idea, even though it's not what we all want
dipset 09-08-2006, 04:04:AM yeah i know screw the interactive leagues and concentrate writing the review on the damnnnn gameplay and additions made to the game. :s***:
ausbarca 09-08-2006, 06:02:AM if they recon all that fifa will strive in is the interactive league its gonna be a ****e game even if interactive league is good, what about al lthe people without live they're just stuck with a fifa 07 with out interactive league which is just like fifa 06
OckHAM 09-08-2006, 06:45:AM Frankly from these videos the game looks just like Fifa 2006, maybe similar to WC06 (I hope so, at least we'll have better light effects, but the camera seems exactly the same of Fifa 2006) but I can't see any changement in the players movement, in the game dynamics and in the AI (did you notice as the mid-wings "run away" from the ball?! they should attack the space..). Nice interface during the game, nothing more. But a lot of things can be fixed with a good gameplay so it's really not a great problem.
mcdonry 09-08-2006, 07:00:AM Free kicks look better (Y)
Amoroso 09-08-2006, 07:07:AM the goal in the 3rd video looks realistic :hump:
kurabica 09-08-2006, 07:23:AM Is this a joke ? this is the same old 04/05/06 game .they need to build a game from scratch not adding minor upgrades every year .
Dimitris 09-08-2006, 01:13:PM Hey, don't say bulls**ts!!! The game is very good and realistic!!! And these videos show it!!!
Harmsworth1 09-08-2006, 09:00:PM I really Like it. I hope the gameplay proves to be ok!
ronaldo9 10-08-2006, 12:43:AM i hope the game will play much beter in xbox360 otherwise i am not gettin it :kader:
daevil1 10-08-2006, 01:22:AM I think it may be a positive sign, that the game looks like 2006. If they didn't focus so much on graphic changes, perhaps theyh spent that time on improving gameplay. it would be pretty ace if they did. Anyway, for a game like FIFA, I think to rebuild the game engine and make it much better than the last one, they would need about 2 years. That's not gonna happen, hence they can't improve every aspect of the game (given complexety of code, if you fix one thing, you'll get 10 new bugs). Wait for the demo, play it for 5 hours or so. Then decide if you like it. The graphics are good enough. If they have a pretty decent gameplay as well, that is more than enough for me.
