Im new to FIFA 06 as Ive played WE for a long time...and for some reason in my season I cannot transfer anyone...everyone ends up not wanting to join the team...:(

And the player might think the team isn't good enough for him, or your offer is too bad.

How do you get more Manager Prestige??? Can you guys be a little more clear on this. I have offered good money too and my team was in 2nd place at the time of the Transfers.

What is your current level of prestige?

What skill level is the player you are trying to buy?

What team does he play in and what's your team?

I was Newcastle and I can't be too bad because I was in 1st or 2nd at the time. And I was trying to get a handful of guys like Onyewu or Zaccardo etc.

Before you can start buying good players (80+) you need a high prestige of 4 or higher to get them at resonable prices unless you want to pay 40,000.

Where do I see how high my team prestige is??

It is the number of arrows next to you managers picture at career central. Im guessing that it is at level 1 :read:

LoL Actually it was at level 3...now at level 4..I simmed an entire season and got to level 4 and now my team is pretty decent. I have Tevez, Samuel, Pizarro, Deco etc.

One more question..how do you friggin get to be teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Man U. I am into my third season and still can't be them...!!!!!! :kader:

It has been mentioned before in another thread but you have to go to the fan shop and purchase "career teams" and then you can start out as five star teams but it is hard. (Y)
