Veron is an excellent player, I saw him play a couple of times on TV.I heard that United wanted to buy him but why do United really need another midfielder?
Scholes, Keane, Butt, Beckham, Giggs, Fortune, Blomqvist, Chadwick, Fletcher, Greening...these are some of the midfielders United have to their disposal, someone is not going to be happy if Veron will join :)

here's my theory -
veron fills scholesy's place in midfield.
scholes will play in behind van nistelrooy upfront. in a sort of cantona role. this will get him more involved in goal scoring, after he's the best finisher (except maybe ole) at the club.

this will all mean Yorkie is off back to villa

I didn't say he isn't good, it's just that Keane, Beckham, Giggs, and Veron are better. Scholes is not up to that quality except when he is on a great day, or very lucky.

Totally agree, Scholes is great. Giggs is great too, Man U need his dribbling. But Keane said that he wants to finish his carrier with Celtic! So, probably, when Veron arrives, Keane will leave.

Scholes is one of our most important players. he gives a new attcking dimension. He's easily the best goal scoring midfielder in britain and one of englands most valuable palyers over the past 3 years. think how many important goals he's scored for england and united

And how much better is Veron? One of the elite Attacking midfielders in the world, with Rivaldo, Figo, etc.

Veron is a great player, I saw him make some very neat goals
