I can't get the jerseys to change for home and away games. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how do you fix it.

Team 17 03-11-2000, 02:13:AM Rebrov: Do you mean you cant select to wear an away shirt or do you mean that tw teams eg: Man Utd v Liverpool, and both teams come out wearing their home (red) shirts? T17 Rebrov 03-11-2000, 02:25:AM T17: Both, each game that I play my team (Dortmund) always wear their home jerseys and the other team always wear their home jerseys. Team 17 03-11-2000, 02:29:AM Rebrov: both teams will always wear their home/1st shirts if the colours are different, but i dont know why two teams would wear the same colour shirt. Well i've never come across anything like this before so i cant give you a solution (yet) but i'll see what i can find out. T17 Rebrov 03-11-2000, 02:32:AM T17: Thanks for the help! Maybe the jeryses were'nt exactly the same color. I did'nt realize that both teams will wear their home jerseys if the colors are different. Again, thanks for the help. Team 17 03-11-2000, 02:47:AM Rebrov: I don't know why the shirts are called home and away shirts because they are actually 1st and 2nd shirts, so if dortmund (yellow and black) are playing bayern munich (blue and red) both teams will wear their 1st (home) jerseys but if dortmund played galatasaray (yellow and red) then the home team get to pick which jersey they want to wear (not in fifa) and the away team have to wear a shirt that is a different colour. It has confused many people because the jerseys are commonly called "Home" and "Away" T17 RussianRocket 03-11-2000, 03:35:AM Yep, it's funny.. But in American Sports (NHL, NBA, MLS, NFL) home and away terms are considered literally -- a team plays a certain color at home, and the different one away. And in NHL they play with a lightest color at home, and the darkest away (like Detroit -- their colors are red and white; they play with a white jerseys at home and red away).... In Eastern European countries (Russia, Ukraine) there's is the same thing; Spartak plays with white-red at home, and usually red-white away, and the colors correspond. But to take Manu for example -- they play with red-white as primary colors. But in 2nd jersey they have dark blue-black. Or Arsenal -- red-white as primary, but blue-yeallow as secondary... krycek2038 03-11-2000, 04:17:AM nevermind home and away jerseys in the NHL... lets not even get into the 3rd and 4th jerseys some teams have Dynamo Kyiv Fan 03-11-2000, 05:37:AM Rebrov, is Ukraine in the game or not? I'm confused now... Team 17 04-11-2000, 01:53:AM RR: in the NHL all the teams have a white home jersey and another colour away and third jerseys. T17 RussianRocket 04-11-2000, 09:58:AM RR: in the NHL all the teams have a white home jersey and another colour away and third jerseys. T17 Not true! Home and away jerseys ALWAYS correspond, but the 3rd jersey is usually of a different color. |
