Enjoy, it is quite in-depth and sounds like this game is going to be absolutely incredible to play! We all know EA hype their product, but there's only so much 'imagination' you can use on what they've mentioned and it sounds like it will play great and realistic.

If they pull it off, PES will look quite arcade'ish, which would be very strange! But this is next-gen and I expect FIFA 07 next-gen to play better than ANY current-gen footy game, if it doesn't, BIG BOOOOO!!!

That is a great interview!!! Very good explanation of everything they been working on and how they got to it. Especially love how they are working on 4 on 4 online players. A soccer gamers dream!!! really can't wait for this game.....

As much as I am thrilled with the revamping of the ball and player physics and AI, the only thing I hope will not happen is that we will have situations where there will be odd behavior between the players and the ball (ie. the ball and player not reacting well together). Lets hope it won't be an issue :)

beats buying PS3's full package for $600 ($700 canadian)!!! Xbox 360 has a good ammount of games out there and they are increasing so much.

do a little math and try buying the 360, it's totaly worth it and it IS the future of gaming. (If you buy FIFA 07 on xbox 360) :P

almost every game got the edit mode option especialy sport games, i don't undersant in all ea games they include edit mode option, why not in fifa games,
(the worst part is that we all know they can easly do that, cos they already had creater mode infifa2000 why did they tuck it out) :nape: , at list in next-gen would have been nice, in football it is very important to had that option, for example; what do u do if your favorite player in your favorite team, shave his head in real life, or grow them, or color them or whatever, (example beckham) let him look like a complite stranger in your team,
this are maybe little details but add to realisem + give u better gaming experience. and thats only one example,
i know they will be so many generic faces as usual, (like in previos fifas) which its normal, we know that they can't put to every player, they real face in every team, but atlist give as full face map option, so that we can create them are sealf,
same goes with changing the bots, the color, the logo, + the option to create them your self, (like in pes)
+ the socks length (example Henry long, Veron short etc...),+ under shorts (example Del piero), the color, or shirt in out and so many many more, i know they will make the star players look as good as they can, but its got to have the option for other players. maybe there is a creater mode in fifa2007, but sins they haven't talked about it yet, it looks more like no, in the end no one will care, if they tuck the time & focused on the gameplay, and if they come up with some good realistic gameplay thats all we want :p

Im still deciding on which system is gonna be better, but nowhere near buying any of them. I gotta wait til the PS3 comes out before I make any decisions, and at the moment it is way too expensive to go near.

they are both going to be about equal really.. specially multiplatform games, so it comes down to how much you want blu ray and which system has the exclusives you want..

Microsoft, in time will have the most exclusive games. Wait and see, it's happening already.

Sony PS3 will do well in Japan, but I think once Microsoft bring out some great deals and people can see that there isn't a major leap from 360 to PS3 (even if there is a leap or difference, which from looking at the spec' of both systems, there won't be!!), consumers will want to buy the better deal, more for le$$. Microsoft are waiting and preparing, the PS3 isn't even out yet and MS already have got two exclusive (and best selling) football games for 12 months, in fact...FIFA 07 is exclusive to 360 for next-gen forever until FIFA 08, so EA claimed a day or so ago, either that or a very late release of 07 for PS3 but what is the point? EA won't do that. They won't release FIFA 07 now on 360, then FIFA 08 but be a year behind on PS3 and release 07. Nah, it's 360 exclusive now! And EA claimed Microsoft had nothing to do with it, it's the fact that they got the PS3 dev kits too late and they said they LOVE developing for 360. Good news for Microsoft.

There's more to unfold then the first page, we're only sneaking around the corners and we've yet to get into the 1st chapter, but the Introduction certainly has its heights set high for the console wars!

Im liking what Im hearing so far. Hopefully the 360 remains the best console even after PS3 comes out. Fifa 07 is gonna be a big hit for 360 as well :p
