The graphics are beautiful and the animations flow together seamlessly. I know it's hard to discern gameplay from a movie, but from what I can see FIFA 07 is shaping up to be the best football game to date. In my opinion the game looks much much better than the 360 footage of the dissapointing and unimpressive next-gen PES (even though those PES fanboys will never admit it). The thing that really interested me was the new physics-driven engine that was showcased in the beginning segment with Ronaldinho. The way he turned and the way the animations blended together were two great improvements :Bow:

it's official, EA have just gone and screwed over Konami! No way does PES look as good as that, or look better animated. And now FIFA 07 looks like it plays amazing. They even had Ronaldinho's celebration (and it will be in there!!!). The way he moves when you see him on 1-v-1 with the keeper is just like him, plus that shot he takes that goes wide looked VERY natural and realistic, including the shot that goes in, very realistic. I can imagine scoring goals will be very very rewarding! But holy sh!t those graphics are INCREDIBLE! And again, those animations, well.....first time a footy game has made me look twice just for animations, I'm not usually too fussed, because I always believed animation didn't affect the emotions of the game, but in this case it does and it's looking superb :wootman: Very impressive, and to think this is a FIFA game from EA SPORTS!! They usually love the elastic football. but in this case it's looking the most realistic football game out there.

I'm excited to play this on 360! Footy video games are the only games I play now, so this looks like I'll be sorted until fifa 08 haha.

I love the thing (2.34 in) when Ronaldinho makes that 180 turn, only using his right foot. The thing i'm most excited about, as far as foot planting goes, is that you no longer is tied to number of pre-scripted animations coming off the right thumbstick. From the looks of things you'll be able to pull off moves with alot more freedom.

Yep, I noticed it too. His feet were way too fast. Unreal, I may say, to be exact.

One thing I noticed on the Ronaldinho demo, everytime he turns, the ball doesn't move correctly, it bearly spins. Looks a little weird. (:/)

2 things:

- hopefully we'll be able to change the speed as in previous fifas, in case we want slower or faster gameplay

- it's hard to judge the gameplay from the video since it was so brief and zoomed out; but honestly it looks really good to me...the ball looked more free during the game play during the through balls and what not... i really think this will be a significant improvement, and i'm still excited about it. it'd be sweet if they released a demo BEFORE the game comes out, at the very least some official in game video to whet my appetite

yes, official footage for 360 in-game would be great! although I doubt a 360 demo will be out anytime soon sadly, current-gen PC demo of course will be out very soon ;)

If you look better, in the Ronaldinho 1vs1 mode, the player makes Ronnie move fast and change directions in a very fast way, just to show how the feet plant on the ground when changing direction or speed. It was meant to show this, not real pace of the game.

Imagine at the guy holding the controller: I guess his hands are hurting now...

In the game mode you can see that the gameplay is not that fast, it's like real soccer. Relax, we'll see some good video soon

I cant stand that there is barely any movement with the nets when a goal is scored. In Fifa 06, they still failed miserably trying to fix the problem. The net moved a bit but somehow the ball would stretch through the net and sometimes the ball would go through the net (weird glitch).

Hopefully they fix it up in Fifa 07. :jap:

Nice stuff. I saw the video (on Youtube..I couldnt see it through the site) and it looked amazing. Thats how Fifa should make their nets for every game they come out with. It makes a big difference.

i heard alot about this game, but never played it, but people whu did where very impresed with the game, a game with they very first addition, coming out out of no where, with no espectetions ending up being sucsses, with ressponsive gameplay, that's a very good work of namco,
and yes the nets are so realistic, the best we ever seen so far in any foot vid game

i must say guys, I've seen both PES6 and fifa07 next-gen vids and well... I hate to say this but fifa looks alot better. I know i can't judge by some dumb vids but i'm just saying what i saw. the big probleme il PES6 looks the the same as PES5 but with stange plastic graphics. Fifa07 looks pretty good but I still need to see more (cos i just hate that floting ball when you chip it in the air :nape: )

I think they should keep the nets from X360 WC06, look pretty good to me. I'm sure they'll fix them though.

As for commentary, I think the X360 is the Skysports team of Martyn Tyler with analysis from Andy Gray - the other versions are Clive Tyldesley and Andy Gray.

This is old, i also thought that but when i played it i've become very dissapointed, it's unreal on most things, the best things are the nets.
