I just purchased the full version of fifa2001 from my local store by the way i am from singapore and we have got the game here already anyway i was on a certain web site which i dun think i wanna named it , they provided cheats for both the PS2 and PC version of fifa2001 i dunno about the PS2 but as for the PC version it does not work! have anyone tried them?Can they work for you?

And i puzzled about certain things in the PC version the team line up which EA Sports gave to us is not accurate because they stated that my country Singapore will be in there and i was so excited when i tried to look for it but was soooooo disappointed when i could not find my country inside so can someone pls enlighten me on this thank you so much

I think i am the first person to get fifa 2001, got it at 31st October, West Mall, 12pm, i asked the uncle for it and he took it out from the big cardboard. Don't even have a price tag yet, and he called his Headquaters for the price...!

I noticed something kind of related to this when I played through a season and got into the Champion's League. In the first round I came up against Dynamo Kiev. Now, if you go through the menu, you can't play as Kiev, but they are clearly in the game! I have noticed a couple of others teams that appear in tourneys but not in the game (Spartak Moscow and Hadjuk(?) Split, for instance).

Any ideas on how to access them?

I think it's ridiculous that the "Other Teams" category only has Galatasary in it. Does that seem a little odd to anyone else?

Yah man we played those teams in the so called champions league but then we cant play as them it's indeed a weird thing now i am waiting when i complete the season and then see if i can play as one of the promoted teams...that will be indeed interesting...haha..i guess there is still fault with fifa2001 which many on this forum have already mentioned..*sigh* when then will the perfect game appear!...

ya, those cheats sites put up their cheats without testing them. And other sites copy their cheats... Or maybe, our version cannot enable cheat? maybe there is a real way to do it? maybe...... maybe.....

The action game should have great gameplay (speed, pitch size, other things), but certainly not database. Last year they did not have many teams (Russia, Czech Rep, your Ukraine) but I relied strongly on the gameplay, and although I did not find it great, I still bought it. To make your own Ukraine by editin IS EXTREMELY EASY. Just substitute some team like Lebanon, Taiwan, or New Zealand with "Ukraine" and then sub the players (Sheva, Rebrov, Shovkovsky, Vaschuk).... It is as easy as to install the game itself.

Or you can go to some Russia-Ukrainian site and wait for someone to make Russian-Ukrainian patch (like they did last year -- made Russian and Ukraininan league and nat. teams in the same patch).

EXACTLY, if YOU need YOUR favorite team in FIFA 2001, YOU make it. That Russian website does not need any Singaporean nat. team or J and K leagues because all they need is the Russian and Ukrainian patches. Meaning that if you want your Singaporean team in the game, why don't you make it like you want it, or go to some Singaporean FIFA site (I don't believe that there is no Singaporean FIFA site) and download that pacth.

If you want Ukraine, it is even easier -- last year, some guys made the Russian and Ukraininan league patch and nat. team in a matter of 2 days. And I did not download it because I know the Russian and Ukraininan teams in my mind.

I used to work along side with another singaporean guy to make the Sinagpore national Team and also teams for the Singapore S-League Team Of coz with help from mani different patch makers but then ever since god knows what happened to Glenn Shepherd that was was fifa99 we did not managed to make a entire collection
thus unable to release the Singapore Super Patch
And also currently there is no Singapore Fifa website at all..*sigh*

One country definately missing in this edition is Trinidad and Tobago. I can't understand why they decided to exclude this country. First of all, they are in the top 30 countries in the world, 27th to be exact. The have players such as dwight yorke (Man U), Russel Latapy (Hibernian), Shakka Hislop (West Ham), Stern John (Not Forest), Ansil Elcock (Columbus crew), the list goes on and on. Also, the fifa vice president is Jack Warner who is from that country so legal issues could have been easily solved. Come on ea....

i am from singapore. i am also disappointed that Singapore is not in the fifa 2001. maybe in fifa 2002 they should make the s-league clubs too. and i also sent a letter to EA asking them why there isn't singapore.

I'm sure that everybody here could care less, but I thought I'd post this just FYI. The teams that EA Sports listed in their press release in October (as teams to be included in FIFA2001)but were NOT are:
Algeria, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Ghana, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, San Marino, Singapore, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine and Uruguay. Just thought I'd share. I'm still convinced that this is NOT the final version of the game. Oh by the way, is there anybody who is using 3 colored shorts, but when you save the setting, the third color is ALWAYS pink afterward? Also, if you play the "World Cup" and win it, the green stripes at the bottom of the real trophy are actually on top of it. That's my 2 cent worth. Peace out

What do you all have to say about Portugal missing AGAIN in the version of Fifa??? Last year i didnt agreed but i accept it. This year? NO WAY!!! We came 3rd in the Euro 2000 together with holland! This is not fair!!! Does anyone know anything about it?
