Well for me I think EA will HAVE to implement Dynamic weather for next-gen too, not just for current-gen. It would be a big shame not to have it on 360 and I haven't read anywhere that it is in for next-gen, so lets hope eh? Plus I think the shooting should be as in-depth as possible, although from the sounds of it (ball physics, animations, etc), this won't be a problem at all with the freedom of the physics and unpredictability.

The good thing about the video footage we have seen until now is that they are all not final versions, in other words, if you take a good look at the players (Ronaldinho's hair and t-shirt) and nets, you'll find that EA has disabled the free-form physics from the game only at this time, maybe because they don't want to show everything, or that they haven't yet packed the game for to be played with (which is more reasonable).

I believe that they'll add dynamic weather and the new sound system that they are using on FIFA 07 current-gen, because it is a very simple coding work for them, and the shooting system is going be UNBELIEVABLE, in a good way of course, that's for sure.

EA said that they have the most realistic game ever in videogaming world, and I do trust the this time. :)

I have always been a FIFA player, ever since FIFA '96 came out...
But during the last five years, I think they've gone in sort of a wrong direction, and FIFA 2005 really hit the last nail in the coffin I think... Ever since, I have been playing PES more, even though I have been trying to get back to FIFA, but I just think that every time EA 'promises' something 'new' in the series, it just ends up being lame and sort of fake, you know? And I just knew with myself, that I didn't wanna have any more of these disappointments, so now I'm playing a lot more PES than FIFA...

But - here comes the good part - I must admit, that when I saw those first screens from FIFA 07 on Xbox 360, I was completely sold! Comparing the screens with the footage we saw at the Games Convention from PES 6 - PES 6 looks more like a current-gen. And I must say, with all the (fake?) promises that EA has given about FIFA 07 on X360, you know, with the new impressive physics engine and the new AI, and overall just the whole thing, it really seems like EA is risking it all. Because, just like you said Biggy in a post somewhere, EA should NOT promise these things, calling it 'the most vital decision and most expensive investment ever to occur in soccer gaming', UNLESS they really mean it. And EA, considering they're the biggest game franchise in the world, would lose ALL the trust their gamers have to them - trust which they've spent years building up. And considering that this is now next-gen, what could possibly go wrong? There shouldn't be such mistakes nowadays.
So, bottom line, I thought I was done with EA - but I must say, that they have really caught my attention already more than ever with this year's FIFA!
So... I'm looking forward to be going back, finally....

Winjer, I was just like you, I lost hope with the current-gen of FIFA 07, I mean I just felt from the talk and videos that EA was going to do the same thing, which I believe until this second that they are still not improving anything, since FIFA 2003.

Anyways, So I open the gamespot page of FIFA 07 on Xbox 360, and god oh my god, I was shocked by the high quality graphics (which are 100% in-game footage). But after 10 minutes, I thought what if this is just another "marketing" thing from EA?? Another "nice talk" campaigns and stuff like this? So, I waited for the official interview with the FIFA 07 team on Xbox 360, And I must say, as I always said:

"FIFA 07 is seriously THE GAME", not as in MGS "The Game", no... It's more of OMG "what a game". :)

So, I'm going to keep an eye everyday for any new videos on FIFA 07 Xbox 360, and of course will buy the game as soon as it is out. My xbox 360 and HD TV are ready for you babyyyyy.. :) Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. :funny:

about fifa 2007 we all like to see fifa immproving, as they got all the licenses. + we all played fifa once, but sins 98, everyone knows that fifa whent down hill, which some people decited to switch, try out different game sach pes, and liked it more, (unlike pes4,5 which both versions where not good for my test but still better then any fifa) but in the end we all have to be open mind, we all like football ( not rabbit fanboys) and check both game demos, then chose which game is better, or buy both, if u think both games are good, cos me personaly like to play the most realistic football simulation gameplay, i don't give a **** which company is relising the game, as long as am happy with the gameplay, i know is fifa thread but common we have to be optimistic, we all been dissappointed with ea in every version, i hope they will prove me wrong this time.

true true, they'll have animated hair, clothes and the nets will quite obviously be far more animated. what we saw in the 'demo movie' was just a demonstration of the new physics and player' animations. It was that early that in a preview I posted, the players' managed to physically CRASH the demo just from picking certain tactics and line-ups. Now if EA don't have that ready, they certainly wouldn't have net physics enabled just yet.

I always promised myself that I'd never get hyped up for a FIFA game again, given the poor quality of 2004 and 2005. However I enjoy 06 immensely and after a couple of shakey titles on the 360 I was determined to keep cool ....


Until I saw the damn thing running on X360! OMG it looks stunning, this is why I bought a 360 back in January (I'm relying on my Wife's PS2 for my FIFA06 fix)
I want this game - I'm praying EA have done it right this time, I know the early code has bugs (such as the steel nets etc) But they have to do it right. I'm counting the days till Nov 14th like a kid on advent. All the teams and leagues, all the stadiums - FIFA as it's meant to be finally realised with the power of the 360. :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

Will they still have as many leagues as current gen or more?

Will there be proper faces for every player or generic faces on most of the players for example Lucas Neill (blackburn) and John Aloisi (deportivo Alves) (aussie champs) in real life they have black hair but in fifa 06 they had blonde hair?

Its just not right having all the licences for so many teams if they cant even get the proper facial features of the players. :kader:

true that but i think its just too much of a global game to have faces for each individual p[layer but they surely should get about 2/3 - 3/4 of all the players faces into teh games, just look at how many faces get made in a week on sg forums, i believe if they got at least 3 or 4 people working over 6-7 months for each league they could get most faces for all players
