View Full Version : Official Fifa '07 PC Controller?
Xx-DeLuSioN-xX 03-09-2006, 06:21:AM I've been out of the Fifa seen for about 2 years now mostly due to the horrible gameplay of Fifa '05 but Fifa 2007 has got me excited for soccer gaming all over again. I was just wondering if the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad is still the official controller for pc. Thanks for the info.

mcdonry 03-09-2006, 07:46:AM Yeah thats the right one. I have a ps2 so it was very easy to convert to that controller because its exactly the same. Have Fun :rockman: :ewan:
sambolton 03-09-2006, 11:16:AM Is it any good, it seems pretty cheap. At £10 off ebay I think I might have to get one!
mcdonry 03-09-2006, 11:49:AM I got mine for around ($30) Australian dollars which is probably the same as 10 pounds
Xx-DeLuSioN-xX 03-09-2006, 06:43:PM I used that controller a lot and I loved it. I still have it but im thinking of trying to exchange it for this http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/EEUR/EN,CRID=2225,CONTENTID=9069 . It's basically the same controller but a rumblepad. They have a wireless one and wired usb controller and the wired usb controller at only $10 (U.S.) more which I think is totally worth it. I've read a lot of reviews on the wireless one and people claim that there is no lag or delay on it but im still a little hesitant.

switch 2 the rumblepad its a great one it as a better grip then the one before it
lil_kewell 04-09-2006, 11:13:AM How much is that Rumblepad one, and also are Cordless reliable on PC, as i like the control to be very responsive.
kennytomson 04-09-2006, 01:22:PM xbox 360 wired controller works with the PC, and this christmas the wireless one will work.
mcdonry 04-09-2006, 03:39:PM Thats all good if you have played fifa games on xbox or xbox 360 but its difficult to go from PS2 to Xbox controllers :jambo:
Xx-DeLuSioN-xX 04-09-2006, 06:02:PM The reason this controller was such a hit with me was because of the almost exact resemblence to the PS2 controller. The wired rumble pad 2 will run you about $32 (U.S.) and the wireless pad is around $42 (U.S.) Originially posted by Hang0ne

Yeah, I think i'm gonna switch but does anyone have the wireless one? A wireless controller can save me a lot of space but I don't want a controller that has any kind of delay or lacks responsiveness.
Schmidty13 06-09-2006, 07:25:PM i got a ps2 converter thing off play.com and ive played the pes5 demo with it but when ive rammed the graphics has high as they can go i encounter an enormous bit of lag :nape:
i wonder if the same will happen with fifa 07... hope not.. but maybe the pc im gonna make in april next year will cure me of these vile bugs!!!
(oh and on a little side note.. what kind of patches or gameplay mods am i likely to expect for fifa 07?)
Richard_P 07-09-2006, 06:44:PM hI Delusion,
I have the Rumblepad cordless, that;s a real good controller! No lag (I feel absolute not any delay or something), good grip and all the same buttons as on PS2 (which I played on FIFA earlier)
Bought it at a webshop in Holland for 31 euros
Edit: in response to Bartimaeus, there are batteries in the controller so it weights a bit more than the wired one but I don't feel it as a problem
Xx-DeLuSioN-xX 07-09-2006, 06:59:PM Thanks for the post, ill give the wireless controller a try
VladoMontenegro 07-09-2006, 07:48:PM My dual action rumblepad 2 does a great job in all games. I even use it for some racing games.
