I'm still confused about "headers from crosses". I have no luck in them. I've played some more games and still no head goals! .... I went to practice mode then, have made thousand of crosses and still no head goals, and even headers at all. My players just made foot shot / volley. I'm pushing regular lob button (A) for cross, and shot button (D) for "header". I've made a lot of variations of pushing (push and hold, push D twice and so on) - still no luck. Could someone explain how to make header from cross, and is it even possible in Fifa07.
If some of You have scored a lot of head goals, post some videos, or screens, please!!!!
If it is NOT - i'll not buy this game! And don't tell me, that game is good, and headers are not so important element and so on.....As for me, headers are more important, than skill moves and dribbling, because i'm a "british" style football fan!

I haven't played the demo at all but there is no way you can't score with headers. I've actually read somewhere it was an easy way to score, I'm sure if you search youtube you'll find many header goals.

??? There are a lot of goals scored from crosses, bet they are scored by foot shot! I want a header goals exactly... It woud be fine to see different head goals, scored in differen part of the net, e.g. in upper rigth corner!!! I've not saw this goals, if someone do, please post video links.

I don't have a problem with headers. I score a fair share of them. Maybe even too many. A pic of Rooney heading the ball to the top corner (a goal I just scored):

Maybe you're just too used to the 06 style of play where every cross was a goal. Or maybe it's an issue which only keyboard users experience. Either way I would strongly suggest buying a decent gamepad, you won't get the best out of the game with a keyboard.

its quite easy, just move your player when the ball is in the air to the spot it is going to and just anticipate the defender but kind of wait until the last moment, then just head the ball to a low or high corner and GOAL!!!!

First goal I ever scored on the demo was a header from Klose (how fitting).

My foward is alone so he don´t need earn the position of defending. The problem is that the crosses goes too low so the foward shoots everytime instead of making a header.

Its the crossing that is the problem, every time you cross the ball it always goes to low, the crossing is pathetic and one area of the game i am hating, especially the low crosses it feels it just rolls and doesnt even make the Distance. Just sums up EA really, the more you play the game the more holes you find.

Agree! I have no problem with scoring from crosses. But I always score by foot, because of low crosses! Here is my typical goal:

Your player was taking the ball after the bounce. When you make the cross, take the player and move him towards the player crossing, that way he may hit it in the air with his head.

It looks, that i understood my foul! The foul of low crosses. I found out, how to make a high cross. I'm trying to explain:
Just before making a cross - direct your directional buttons to the right (when attacking from left to right) or to the left (attacking from right to left). Your player will perfom a cross (probably - high cross)
Do not take diagonal direction or direction towards players in the box. You player will perform a lob in this case! (the same as in the middfield)

I am having a hard time scoring by headers too, but i will try out some of the suggestions some of you posted. But another problem i think is that there is never enough players in front of the goal when i cross. I don't have this problem with pes, but most of the time in fifa 07, I only have one player in front of goal against 3-4 defenders, so it's kinda hard to get a chance from crosses.

I have found the solution for low crosses.
You have to press A+Q to make higher crosses.
I have already scored 3 header goals :ewan:
