I have a question, well no actualy a remark... you are aware EA is about to release a roster patch? Don't you think it will overwrite your work as it will update a new version of the fifa.db? That fear is the main reason why I didn't start to update much myself...

there is no wrong or right way of transcribing cyrillic names. in english you spell it "kiev", in german "kiew", though "kyiv" maybe a better transcription of the now ukrainian name. but since the difference between the old russian and the new ukrainian name is so small and since "kyiv" faces almost everyone with the probem of how to say it, i think it's the best solution to stay with kiev in english. if you want the real russian you have to play in russian language because it's cyrillic.

I've always know the city as Kiev and only since UEFA decided the use the proper transliterated name from the Russian has it become Kyiv, other than that the English name is Kiev, same for Moscow, the proper transliterated version is Moskva but the name is really Moscow.
