yeah that happens to me 2 .................can't use ****-stick

same problem. This game does not recognize my xbox 360 controller even though the readme.txt states that in indeed does. Lies from EA? big surprise!

go to microsoft and D/L the all new xbox 360 drivers... It will work wif ur game and even rumble :-)

Had the same problem and found the answer/s at the EA FIFA forums. This worked for me:

1. Disconnect your controller.

2. Download latest DirectX version plus updates. (this is important)

3. Update your Xbox 360 controller. Latest drivers available through the device manager method. (Connect controller- look under device manager from My Computer- update drivers).

This method was also recommended uunder known issues in EA's support FAQ.

A repost- just for you. Or to make it even clearer, look at the second point on the first sentence.

I am not talking about the stick- just the fact that game does not recognise the controller.

For the stick, it does work but it's a hit and miss affair, some tricks are ok, others don't register too well. I understand that this is quite a known issue- also with other controllers- from reading through posts in other forums.
