And that's not the worst thing!!!

The worst thing is that they also roar when the visitor team scores!!!! That's stupid and shouldn't be difficult to fix...

I mean, playing Barcelona vs Madrid in Nou Camp... can you imagine the crowd roaring when Madrid scores???

Is it possible to fix this? even silence will be better when visitors score...

Maybe they drugged the crowed and they just dont know what they're doing anymore....

the visitors should get less rorring then the home team, because this is how it is in real life.

It has to do with the FIFA fair play liscence

SportPlanet: Playing at home, goals by opposing team players are still accompanied by celebration and applause at the stadium. Will an official patch address subduing the home crowd in these situations? If not, will the change be made in the next edition of the FIFA series?

Andy: Our goal was to tone this down. There is always some applause when an away team scores because there are generally sections comprised of away team supporters. And it's something we will continue to tweak (along with all aspects of our audio) further as we move on. There are no plans to patch this particular issue at this time.

Today i get very pissed of about such bloody mistakes! like the crowd, kits, names, referees, pronouncement, stadiums, and at last the unrealistic skills of the team! example i really like Englands National Team but it is not so strong like 3-4 years ago!!!
Or GS the greeks has also picked uo the but card this year! next time i make thoughts about buying such a bug game!!! ISS is the game which pronounce all the plyaz name also hakan sukur or unsal and so on....
Their is one thing if hagi was not pronounced what are they say in the romania team! karpaten maradonna or playa with the ball or the male one!!!

Well I'm going to bring up the fact that NHL 2000/1 games are better than the FIFA 2000/1 games. I have NHL 2000 and when I was playing as Philadelphia at Edmonton I scored (1-0) - mild chears from the few fans I had at that game - then I scored again (2-0) - dull boo-ing from the píssed off Edmonton supporters - then, god darn it they scored (2-1)- wild chearing from the fans who knew their team was back in the game - then i made it 3-1 - silence.
This kind of logic should be put in to action in the ifa games, after all the two games are made by the same company - so why isnt fifa any good?

I agree with you 100%! (as i previously ranted about this topic) Some people have wondered, as well as myself, if a "sound patch" would be possible to fix this. The last time the crowd roar was any good was FIFA 99... some say in FIFA 98 it was even better. Why is it that they downgrade features of the game????
