People are saying what a great final is was. But I don't see it. Players diving and pretending to get hurt, carryed off and back on the ground within 2 minutes.

I would agree partially on that one. The final was entertaining because of all this play acting from a neutral point of view.
On the other hand it was total nonsene.That Bayern winger Salihamidzic was rolling around like a dead man whenever Angloma was tackling him and some other players were doing the same.
Stefan Effenberg(the most arrogant sod on the planet - even his mum said that) dived to get the penalty and rightly so Bayern missed.
The referee was a bit bollocks too to be quite honest, he is defenitely not the top ref in europe! why let him referee such a big final?!
The first penalty: it was a bit harsh, i watched the replay about 10 times and it looked like it was more ball-to-hand rather that hand-to-ball.

The second penalty was a clear dive by Effenberg!

The third penalty was more jusified than the other two.
Then there was a dodgy decision when booking Carboni for time wasting but not booking Angloma when he mis-timed his tackle completely(and that wasn't the first one)and didn't get booked.

Then Bayern should of had a penalty when Kily Gonsalez more than clearly handled the ball in the area intentionally, I can forgive the ref for not seeing it but the assitant ref should have seen it clearly!it was so obvious.

Phil, i dont have the experience that you clearly have - do dead men roll around? :D :D

Yeah they actually do.I've seen it many times, WW I, WW II, Vietnam, Gulf War, I've seen dead men rolling around all the time, dave :D

hahaha... dead men rolling around... :D and yape.. i must agreed that the match didn't live up to my expectation... but then again.. both team have to put safety first and thus killing the match... :( i totally understand the situation... so i'm happy about the outcome...

Happy with Bayern winning? They where the worst in all the diving. Sure they had more of the ball but that doesn’t justify diving.

Diving is a big problem of the German football. I love matches in the Premier League, if anyone gets tackled he doesn't roll on the floor, he tries to continue running, to stay on the ball. In Germany everyone is rolling on the floor crying after every touch. That's terrible! I think Hamann from Liverpool complained about that, too.
