What promise the demo showed has been stripped from the final code.

If your planning on buying it, don't waste your money, the only version that looks somewhere like is the XBOX 360 version, and you can't edit that.

After wasting my money, I am never going to purchase another game from EA, as they don't give a crap about the PC version.

Save your money and get PES6, as it will blow FIFA off the charts!

Ok it's not got the licenses or commentary, but what it has got is a gurrantee of solid playable football game and not some half arsed attempt like FIFA is.

It's still so scripted and un-responsive it drives you mad.

All i've got out of it is a chance to take the commentary and put it in PES6, oh and a nice new coaster.

Yah, the pc version scored better than every other version this year which is really strange for a pc sport game. EA really did put effort into a pc sports game for once.

Who cares if Konamo or EA or some company we've never heard of produces the best soccer game? EA have a lot to work on but at least pretty much everybody can see they've made huge leaps forward even if they're not there yet. Konami have dragged their butts for the last two years, you only have to read through every PES/WE forum on the internet to see that PES5 had more complaints then every previous version combined. People want excellence and demand it if they have to part with their money every year for it.

At least in PES you can select a player when you want and not 2 seconds later.

And all games are scripted to a point, but PES is far less so than FIFA!

I think the magazine reviews of fifa over the years back up those foolish comments.

Yeah, PES has the best switch player system ever.....................in your mind.

PES less scripted...................so that must be why I sometimes have no control over my players, the computer can score if it really wants and there isnt jack I can do about it, slow defenders somehow catch my super fast forwards, why Super-Cancel allows you to get away with something that would be more than a foul if you were not pressing SC, why the ball seems to be magnetic to the CPU players, the default control scheme has crosses on auto-pilot, in PES5 you auto side-stepped, etc, etc, etc.

PES is like capitalism.... One gets freedom and the satisfaction of raising the bar

Fifa is like Communism.... one has no real freedom but it has a large and faithful foundation (which is generally inept) and has a bit of influence spread about the world. It has its satelitte states.

However PES.... has not done anything that really needs fixing in the last couple of years as it is falling into that dangerous abyss that is money making (thats capitlaism for u... money first.. ppl second) and screwing the people dry for as little as possible.

And Fifa.... Gets by with simple influecne and controls everything... EA jsut signed a deal with Fifa to keep the lisences in their hands until 2010 or sumthin. And they also like to screw ppl over I may add.

Togeather they create a little Cold War trying to out do each other in their arsenal (u unobjective fanboys are their little pawns to run amock in this civilsied society).

Yet One is always weaker... Communism was therefore EA is.

Conclsuion: Both will screw u over and the world will be annhiliated. Oh and i almost forgot... Nuclear War almost started during the Cold War not between capitalist and communsit but bewteen communsit russia and communsit china... Perhaps this prophosises an internal collapse within EA as it seems to like to buy out all the other compition. One can always hopes'ppose ... :rolleyes:
