This mod has the following stuff edited.

1. Ball gravity (ball dips more realistically now).
2. Crossing auto help has been toned down a lot (Was way to auto aim like now you have to work hard to score).
3. Crossing height has been edited the soft crosses is now like a driver low and hard (rather than a floater).
4. Shot power bar (you now have longer to decided where to shoot).
5. Same as above but for penalties.
6. Keepers are loads better now (were a bit ****).
7. Turned up the air resistance for the ball when in flight (was to fast the ball was like a bullet).
8. Gameplay if faster.
9. Passing is quicker and more accurate.
10. Slide shots and stretch shots power toned down (same as shot was to fast).
11. Removed the chipping of the keeper when at his big toe (you can still chip him but its harder now).
12. Shooting is now even harder so when you score thoughts brilliant goals they mean so much more.
13. LOD has been overhauled now looks way better clearer and the head no longer go baled at a far view.
14. headers are now manual no more auto aim headers.
15. Jostle has now been made harder (you will notice this when a cross comes in).
16. AI difficulty has been given a over hall only WC all the others are the same.
17. Changed the bloom effects look not bad now.
18. Refs are more strict now so watch though tackles.
19. Hand balls now happen more often.
20. Keepers now run out on 1 on 1 situations and don't **** it up.
21. Dribbling is now faster gives you a boost so you can get past that last defender.
22. Fixed the jostle bug (sorry guys :bob: )
23. WC is back to default now so WC, Pro, Semi and Ami are default.
24. New Legend difficulty even more harder (i know i got beat Italy 0:2 Spain :f***: ).

There is still more to come so stay tuned.

I will release a new one soon fixed the rain dosnt look like a monsoon now I also changed the wet ball physics and hand balls happen abit more now not that much but more real.

Here is the xbox strips as you can see the quality isn't very good on the shorts and socks the tops are not bad though they are very different to the pc version also some texture like logos and numbers stadium textures like grass ans so on will no show in EA graphics editor i can view faces and some of the popups for in game like the rader so if any of you guys are up to the challenge please let me know and i will sent you the files you need the format of xbox files are xsh the program can read some but ones with a certain compression cant be viewed.

I've tried the file and the game does seem tougher which is good. I didn't see a big difference in game speed though or ball speed.

Is it possible to provide a patch with faster movements and ball speed ? I play pro evo 5 a lot and prefer the speed in that game which is faster.

If this is not possible could you tell me what i need to edit on the file to provide what i'm looking for.

I did actually try to edit the files but when i saved them and ftp'ed them back to the game it wouldn't load. Do I need to compress the file after its saved or something ?

Open the files INI.big with EA graphics editor and then pick ai.ini then you want to extract the file by File\extract then you can edit it till your heart is content you will need to edit the speed settings just press Crtl+F in notepad and change the values once you have done that you have to import them back in there is a small icon in the tool bar looks like a envelope with a arrow pointing left pick that then follow the prompts.

The game is quicker not in player movement but in passing and ball flight. i have been changing alot in the past two days i have now got it so that the ball feels heavy not that floaty feel and skills don't slow you down as much also i have got the ball physics feeling just right in day and rain i like the fact you have to work hard to get a goal now and when you score one of thoughts crackers its worth the time and effort.

So what would I need to edit to give me faster player movement ?

Would it be possible to post your latest file so that I could test it out ?

1. I have fine tuned the ball physics they seem more heavy feeling less floaty.
2. changed the wet and fine weather ball physics.
3. shot power up speed has been increased.
4. passing speed has been made faster (you will still get the ball bouncing along the ground very slow i havnt found out how to try and stop that).
5. Keepers are less flamboyant they will stillmake the cool saves but only if there stats make them.
6. improved in all of the first patch changes.
7. Hand ball happens more now so you will see some more hand balls.
8. injurys happen a bit more but the serius ones dont.
9. game speed i put the value up it seems faster to me but you guys/gals will need to test.
10. some other updated gamplay stuff.
11. i will never get the game to be like pro evo 5 but i will try my hardest.

Does the patch work in manager mode ? Its just that i've player a few games in that mode now and it seems much easier to score again.

Also is there anyway to make a patch that uses these values but also allows you to play in legend mode ?

I've heard that legend mode is mucg tougher so if you can use your ball physic and other changes legend mode may be even better.

Not sure i dot play the manager mode it should be the same but if your playing a crap team and your a good one then its going to be easier to score.

as for legend mode this will carry forward to that i dint know you get legend mode in the game.

all my changes only affect the ball physics and player animation (Passing, height of ball,hand balls and some other stuff ) speeds and how the keepers act IE. the keepers use there stats now rather than being all the same and using the same stats so its should work in all modes but if its a **** team your playing then it will be easy like in real life like i got beat off of falkirk and i was rangers before i was winning every match.

Legend mode has to be unlocked. Is there a way that you could unlock it ?

Another thing i've noticed is the file - config.dat In this file there is another ai.ini and player.ini file as well as a few others.

The values in this ai.ini file are different to the edited version in the gameplay patch. I was just worried that this ai configeration file could overide the gameplay patch.

Maybe you could look at this other ai file and maybe change the values in this file as well to match the patched gameplay file.

Also there could be other things that could be chnaged here as well as there are quite a few different files.

Hi there! speaking of mods i tried a lot to import boots that replace the ugly ea boots for the xbox but with no luck.I used the Bigguy program i imported the t20__1 and so on, compresed the file ,run ea graphics editor to see if the the boots were ok (replaced) and looked very nice but when i replace the zdata01.big in the xbox hard disk the game after running the main menu when i entered inside the editor it crashed :kader: .Plese help !

you need to download Fatgui_Fatbhbuilder_07 and run that in the main folder of FIFA07 when its finished it should work ingame not 100% sure but if it works then great we are 1 step closer to modding the xbox version.

i managed to edit the config.dat but i changed it and now its not working don't know y but trying to get the damn thing to save its doing my head in so if any of you guys have any ideas then roll them out.

Ok managed to edit the config.dat now so i can change stuff the ai.ini is the same as the other one but there is settings in here for bloom and loads off other stuff so i will release another update soon i have fixed the lod now and updated a few physics and the difficulty and keepers again.

also the main ai.ini in the config.dat is the main one that gets used i dont know if the other one dose get use or its a backup or that ones used in another mode.

Here you go just had to transfer all the changes over to this ai.ini but also there is no videos now i turned them off but i changed the bloom i cant get all the stuff unlocked you need a save for that changed the ai off the comuter hope there harder now.

Thank you very much iam still changing stuff as we speak and in the next day or so i will put up another one for download if you want the videos on i will put up two versions one with no videos and one with videos.

in the new version its faster skills now don't slow you down at all they give you a small boost just to get past the defender :brow: and shooting i have reduced the aim assist so harder again which is good.

also if any one that makes the pc programs could add xsh support please cos thats what the stadiums and strips are in on xbox there is only the odd fsh file thanks for your support and help.

for your question i dont think you get legend mode in this one but what i will do is make Wc = legend, pro = Wc, semi = pro and ami = semi.

as you may have guest this is not for the faint hearted gamer this is for the hard core FIFA and Pro evo gamers.

I downloaded your first mod release from the megaupload link.. playing a game now and all i can say is that it is MUCH, MUCH better than before. Especially the passing.. it's much quicker and precise. In the regular gameplay i always had trouble putting passes into the box when i would be on a quick break.. the ball would never seem to get there or it would go to slow. With your gameplay this has been fixed because i just scored from the same situation i just described and was able to put in a good pass into the area thanks to your mod. And since this isn't your latest update.. i can't wait to try out the new one.. things can only get better.

Nah you dont need to delete your save the file config.dat is loaded when the game boots up the ini.big loads when a match is loading so there is no save needed for this so your are fine.

Thank you very much. Great work! Just going to finish up a game with your previous update then im going to download this one. After a couple a games its clear as day that you fixed off the ball movement.. your AI teammates attack with you.. get into good space.. make much smarter runs and overall just a lot better. And another issue i had with EAs gameplay was that a lot of the times when you attack.. even with a only 2-3 players.. as soon as the defense stopped you they would boot it to midfield and one of their guys always seemed to get it because your teammates would always be out of position and never would put much pressure on the CPU. A lot of this has been fixed so thank you!

I also love how the tricks don't slow you down anymore.. but give you a little boost like they should.

Now that legendary mod is unlocked both wc and legenary levels will play the same.I think that you mention that wc level will play like legendary.

Nah i haven't changed that yet but WC is harder than Legend WC is my own creation so try the two out see if there is a difference and your new DB ****s up the audio and other shop items.

If you your using the mod for the PC verison DON'T use the config file that comes with the download.. keep the original one or else it will crash.

Is the jostle bug where you go for a header and both players seem to dissapear or move to another part of the screen ? I've had that a few times with the new patch but never before.

Also if I was playing on WC level yesterday and having a good challenge should I switch to pro on your latest patch to play at the same level. Has WC now been improved to play at legend level ? I've been playing on WC today and am finding it much tougher but it may just be my bad play.

Have all the changes (physics etc) been made to all levels of play or just WC level ?

This is for all the program makers for FIFA games please could you put xbox support for FIFA the file format is XSH which is just a FSH file but xbox format some off these files are swizzled i have a program that unswizzles them, so for grass and stadium file icons and loads off other images this could be handy for you guys to help make you tools xbox compatible.

as you can see the image has been scrambled buy swizzling it and now i have unswizzled it.

Yes someone could give a try so that graphic patches fanction on xbox.By the the way i tryed a lot but with no lack.I think the problem is FATGUY that does not have xbox support.If FATGUY is ok with xbox and reads all files in zdata.big files then everything will be ok for me to mod every graphic in fifa07.

Hmm don't know haven't had this issue. And no you don't need a fresh installation because i have a bunch of things for my FIFA and i just started using this mod yesterday. Your not suppose to use the CONFIG file that comes with the download just keep the regular one. Try using the regular fifa.db file instead of the one included in the mod download.

Well i personally don't know how to in FIFA 07 (someone else might) but if you wait a little bit someone will definetly come out with a chant importer/chant packs so you can add your own into the game.

You cant use the xbox version of the config.dat the sku.ini file is different this will make your game crash i will upload a new pc one with the files in it so you guys can use it also the names thing that has nothing to do with the config.dat or the ini.big it could be the FIFA.db but i don think it is because i have it on my pc version and it works fine as for chants we cant add anything to xbox yet as fatgui and Fatbh builder does not support XSH file so wee will need to wait.

hi rocky its the pc version im using not the xbox so is it possible to create chants for pc version? i reinstalled my game and everything works fine now i still didnt put the config file in but you say i can now? what does the config file change in the game? and also are the updated transfers meant to be in the patch or not as i cant see them? i did them myseklf but reinstalled my game now so there gone.and is there a way to edit faces of players without having to just create new players? cheers.

I found the problem, my game is in French language, it is thus necessary to modify the locale.ini in the config.dat (replace eng to fre) with bigGuy.

Is it possible to raise ticket prices in this patch. Even with the highest ticket prices its almost impossible to make a profit and isn't very realistic. Playing as Man Utd you should be able to make a good profit each week from ticket sales.

Rocky thank you for your gamplay patch - it does make the game more challenging! However, the game is still too easy for me because the CPU cannot do anything about dribbling up and down the wings. The "sure goal" is scorred by sprinting down the wing and then jostling with a defender as you start to turn towards the net. The defenders are quite bad at taking the ball from you so you can just run parallel to six yard box and put it past the keeper. I've atached a screen shot after a typical game. I am a 1 star team playing away with a 2 star team. Notice the posession, passing %, score, etc.

I was wondering if you could use your expertise and make an "impossible" game play patch (without allowing the CPU to cheat t0o much). I've tried upping tackling, reducing dribbliing, and playing with jostling in config.dat and ini.big but I cannot improve the CPU much :(

I have added tools to edit the xbox file to download on the first page unfortunately we cant add files to the big files yet because we cant rebuild them fatgui and Fatbh builder dont support xbox hopefully that will change. :Bow:

As for the cache depents on what dashboard you are using

1. Unleash-x just go to file manager and press start on the Y, X and Z drives and pick format also delete the folder CACHE in E:\.

2. XBMC if you use that let me know and i will upload the clear cache script.

3. Evox thats a **** dash so you cant on that one you would need to do it through FTP.

4. Any other dashboard don't know i use XBMC (MC360)

the problem was the conig.dat... with the original config.dat the game works... any difference to your patched one?

not realy sure about faces but what region are you in it's in pal you will need to edit locale.ini in the config.dat use bigGUI to edit the file you will need to patch bigGUI first though.

As i said before we cant edit files well you can edit them but we cant put them back in the big files so if you make faces then you will need to wait for xbox support on the programs to rebuild the file system.

I tested the last version of the "patch", it is really excellent.

Here the solution to have the referees on the ground on XBOX !!!!!!

1- open config.dat with biggui (all files)
2- export locale.ini (edit - export)
3- edit locale.ini
by adding the 2 following lines
REFEREE = 1
LINESMEN = 1
4- save locale.ini
5- import locale.ini in config.dat with biggui (edit - import)

When i go in squad to change my starting lines. There isnt any players menu for that and it just freeze there. I had to click x on top right to shut the game.

I need that 75% injuries prone. That what it lacking now. Wanted to see more players get injured often. LOL.

did u actually altered the ai difficulty for semi-pro? or is it the default one that came with the original game?

it's only the default i only edited the legend difficulty.

Just to confirm - Are all the changes listed on the first page (ball physics, faster passing etc) on all levels of the game ? Or is only legend level different ?

Hello, i downloaded the mod and replaced the files in fifa07 folder with them.

I still don't see the option to change to Legend difficulty.

Is the gameplay project still being worked on ?

I think its a big improvement so far but feel the following needs to be changed if possible -

- Ball speed seems too slow when passing along the ground
- Less blocks by keepers and more balls held
- Slightly quicker all round gameplay
- Players seem to react slowly sometimes to gamepad commands, can this be changed ?

Just getting starting reading about FIFA 07 Mods and I'm particularly interested in the Xbox version. There are not many threads here on this forum for Xbox mods, and it seems this thread is the main one, so I just wanted to sumarize what has happened so far.

As of right now:

Only the gameplay settings can be modified.
No one has discovered a way to modify any of the game resources (player faces, flags, shoes, badges, etc)
No one has discovered a way to apply a roster update

hey i was wonderin if anybody has found a way that you can play longer matches eg 90 min for xbox????

I was wondering if the patch applies to any game speed. I play at fast ( what do you guys play out of curiousity... which one seems more realistic) and the AI seems very easy still in the legendary mode. Goalies dont charge on 1v1's the other team doesnt use possesion very well and for some reason I ALWAYS get scored on free kicks. If there is any suggestion as to how to fix this I would highly appreciate it. Thanks for your time guys.

Anyway, i encounter cpu gk sometimes dribble the ball out of their box then give a cross or a pass. LOL. Anyone seen that in your game?

I made an attempt in editing cpudiff and ended up now almost every crosses to the box was clear by cpu. It applies to corner kick too. Making it rare to see a header goal anymore.

There doesn't seem to be an xbox forum only a 360 forum so it would be better staying here. it does seem to of died in the last few weeks though after a promising start.

Well here is the new one.

1. I have fine tuned the ball physics they seem more heavy feeling less floaty.
2. changed the wet and fine weather ball physics.
3. shot power up speed has been increased.
4. passing speed has been made faster (you will still get the ball bouncing along the ground very slow i havnt found out how to try and stop that).
5. Keepers are less flamboyant they will stillmake the cool saves but only if there stats make them.
6. improved in all of the first patch changes.
7. Hand ball happens more now so you will see some more hand balls.
8. injurys happen a bit more but the serius ones dont.
9. game speed i put the value up it seems faster to me but you guys/gals will need to test.
10. some other updated gamplay stuff.
11. i will never get the game to be like pro evo 5 but i will try my hardest.

wel...i have edited .xsh files for fifa 06...its easy...but i dont know if the files for 07 are the same as 06

No its still going to be done I have been having problems with my Internet for the last month and a half so i think its fixed now so will put an update soon sorry its been so long.

There is an editor for XSH files on page one its a FSH editor Hex edited to read XSH files also there is a unswizzle and swizzle programs for as the name say's unswizzle the images.

The only problem with the xbox version is that big and Fat rebuilding programs don't work for XSH files and the xbox big files which is a pity because i would like to have the new kits and boots in the game.

in fifa 06 the FATBH from socceraccess worked for the xbox version....

any one knows how to replace the turf in fifa07 .the original turf looks like crap

Why isn't the changes I make in the fifa.db recognized when I play the game?

For example I tried to move Henrik Larsson to Man UTD simply by adding a new record in the "teamplayerlinks-table". I even tried to change captain in Arsenal in the "teamwrite-table" but no luck there either. You guys got any ideas.
