Might as well get it up now, talk about demo players, especially as you can carry the game on when the full release is out.

I thought Tom and I had made a longer list of features for the new forum, months ago, but I don't see many of them back yet. At least the most important one is in, the forum itself. The old one was getting crowded.

We'll see what else makes the cut in due time.

I dont think it should be opened until the game is officially released - things may change and hence cause confusion.

The Gold demo has been released. Nothing is going to be changed before the release.

you can get him for just 100-150 pounds, its hard to get him a permit in england though :(

oh and jesus navas is fabulous, a bit expensive though, I got him for around 35 M Pounds :nape:

Sivok is good in this game again. You can also get Joey Barton for about 4million, he's good cover.

Diop did wonders for me with Man U and chipped in with a few goals. Great from corners.

Dunno what u guys think, but im against a new players forum.. the forum simply isnt that busy to justify spliting it in 2 parts. + From my personal experience... i never realy liked having to check that subforum, it only made me, in many cases, become less active and post less.

that is a good point, i'd also be happy to keep it here in the main forum.

That would mean having another 3 sticky threads in the main forum, though.

we arent having 3 stickies in the main forum for the players threads, unless someone can come up with a good idea to have them all in ONE sticky.

What we could do, is have one sticky for all, and have everyone post their players, and have 3 posts at the top by me or Ruud, first for defensive, second for midfielders and third for attackers. We simply update those posts with players.

That would work i guess, as all you'd have to do is go to the relevent post... maybe.

Well if you update them as much as you did last year tom its bound to be a success (H)

No application puts the CPU under so much stress like FM, so I would be lead to believe that your CPU is overheating. One solution to this would be to turn off the computer, take the CPU fan off and clean it, and make sure you give the heatsink aswell a good thorough cleaning aswell. When the FM 2005 demo came out a few years ago it gave me the blue screen but a nice clean of the fan and heatsink and everything was fine. I wouldn't say no to taking the case off the machine.

AIDA32 (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/AIDA.shtml) is a good program that tells you everything about your computer including hot your Motherboard/CPU chipset is from inside Windows. Heatsink-Guide (http://www.heatsink-guide.com/content.php?content=maxtemp.shtml) should tell you the max °C your chipset can take (if it's listed), if you didn't already know it, so it may be a good idea to take note of it and then run AIDA32 whilst playing FM and see if overheating is the problem.

The hottest my PC will get is 44°C, under maximum stress, which is amazing considering the limit is 90°C.
