This problem is really annoying. I´ve tried playing 4 times, and every time the game freezes, the computer starts beeping a few times, then it shuts down. In three of my tries this has happend around half way into the second half, and the last time it happened at the end of extra time.

I am using my notebook with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Graphics card. I have updated with the latest driver, and I have tried to put the resolution to 640x480, and the detail to "medium". This does not help

Any ideas of what is wrong?

this has happened to me also on 2 occasions of the 4 times ive played :nape: 2 times the pc has turned itself of and once it just jumped straight to desktop halfway through a game then closed itself down personally i am totally annoyed with fifa 07 and feel that the game hasn't been put together right and isnt even in working order and thats why i am still playin 06 :ewan:

my PC doesnt shut down but randomly in the middle of games and stuff it exits out to desktop like just now middle of free kick exited out its really annoying as it happens in the best matches (Barca V Chelsea)

If it wouldn't happen to as many people I would swear it's a ventilation problem inside the PC casing, are you guys overclocking? Once the CPU or video card runs too hot the PC's shut themselves down to prevent damage. (at least the modern ones)

That was my thought at first too, but I have played other games on the same computer that requires a lot from the graphics-card, and these have worked fine (FIFA World Cup, PES5, etc)

I have not overclocked.

I don't think is overclocking..I have a desent computer and still crashes and restarts itself...REALLY anoying, and only in fifa 07. this game is the only one that does it.....any solution guys.

It turned out to be overheating of the cpu. I just removed som dust from the system/fans, and now it works fine....

So I was right after all :) Yeah you'd be surprised how much dust that gets into PC units in a few months.

its simply your computers sucks $#!7 and not FIFA 07 stop blaming FIFA 07 for your crappy computer it works perfectly fnie on my comp its just your crappy computer so please think b4 u go whinning and Bitching about it

game works fine for me only crashes once in a blue moon i guess its your computer isnt compatibel with it or somethnigf or smoe reason or something is wrong with your computer and not tehg ame things you shdl do is open up your comp and get 1 of those compressed air cans and air out all teh dust in you comp so it runs better likeover ppl have suggested if that doesnt work than try installing the game on another computer and if it woks fine there than its your computer has something weird going wrong with it

I love ignorant people like you. EA has a long history of releasing half baked games. Madden 06 superstar mode.. go look at it. It is pathetic what they released and how buggy it was and in 07 it got better but STILL is not worth bothering with. MCO thier mmo, earth and beyond, and this version of fifa. So check your epeen at the door please.

With that said, I have the same problem. I updated all my drivers, I got rid of any overclocking on my computer to make sure my temps were not going wild. And I did the whole ea trouble shooting thing with audio.

I run a 2600+ (normal 1.6ghz normal/oc´ed at around 2400)
1 gig of ram
gf 6600
k8n motherboard that uses n-force 3 250 and ac97 audio.

I´m thinking there is an issue with that ac97 audio however I can´t figure it out. Kinda gave up on the issue and just live with it. Sometimes it locks up sometimes i can play 3-4 games before it locks up... however it always locks up lol.

I run oblivion on my comp just fine... Donno why I am having such huge issues with fifa which has little to no reason to demand more from my machine then oblivion does.
