Also I have read in previous posts that Spartak and Dinamo show up during cup competitions but you cannot select them beforehand.

I think there must be some way to unlock these extra teams. I would guess that they would then be thrown into that "rest of the World" section with GALA.

Speaking of GALA, in the PSX version at least you cannot play with GALA in a cup or custom cup you also cannot edit the team either.

Their kits are wrong in the PSX version. I tried to edit the kit but you cannot select them.
