what we know so far?

in some reviews i read something like

*4vs4 play on 4 different pc/ps2
*lagless (then they should probably have abandoned host-client system)

but seems every other aspect of online play is preety much a big mystery

someone has other confirmed roumours?

*spectator mode
*online tournaments (what kind, how many ppl in it...)

hope this years online will be great step forward

(personally i dont see satisfaction playing pes vs AI, whole beauty of this game comes when playing against human)

hope for some feedback

I'm the same as you borjan,I hardly play against the cpu and the biggest step pes6 needed over pes5 is definitely the online mode.

They've totally rewrote the online mode, no more of that crap ps2 online mode :lui:

Isn't there an 8 player mode or something ?

Or is that the spectator mode :confused:

The scandinavian PES6 distributor (KE Media) has confirmed the following onlinefeatures for PC/PS2:

4vs4 onlinemode with no lag. Netcode done from scratch.
New spectatormode, watch your friends onlinegames
New onlinemodes: Tournament & Group-mode.

It doesn´t say anything specific about the modes, I guess that Konami wants to make PES6 a good surprise as possible for us !

I´m also 100 % with you guys regarding onlinegames, CPU AI will never ever be beat that, period.

Spectator sounds very good! Also i wish they can some option where you can choose the teams that you don't want to play again. For example i don't want to play against brazil so i can ban it.

Yeah, that would actually be pretty nice. I also hate those "I´m always picking the superior teams"-gamers. :)

Nice nick you got btw, I play in a PC PES5 online tournament where i´m Dynamo Kiev. Verpakovskis is a very nice player ;)

There won't be a 8 vs 8 mode.

The fact the lag will be improved and online tournaments has persuaded me to pre-order the game. :wootman: (Y) :bouncy: :D

So this means 2 players MUST be on the same pc in order to play against 2 other players?
Or can we play 2 vs 2 (or 2 vs cpu) on all different pc?

Wow, imagine a spectator mode, where you are "sitting" in the crowd and have a life-like viewpoint. What would be a killer :D

Can someone explain how it could be lagless?

I'm in Australia and in PES5 it's impossible to play a decent game with anyone outside Australia.

It would be great to have some rooms where u can only play with small medium teams. I also hate thos games against inter or brasil where 11 supermen scores from anywhere.

Plus an administrator against cheating, especially those who have pele and maradona in their teams.

finally I can see those arsholes online who plays only with Brazil and etc

this is first impression from a guy who played it online on his ps2:

"online mode working
no option file online mode.
the others leagues C not function online
lag 0
no teams of the master league online"

but than again there are only few testing versions of game in lobby, who knows how will it react on thousands on players in lobby

Yes and it should be the "fan mod". You also can buy tickets with your points and buy cloth to wear on match and you like can get sick if it's cold and bring some flames to support team and coins (to throw at dida :D).. That would a supermatic! And if you misbihave cops will arrest you and you couldn't play some games becouse you will be in jail. And then you can start fight against other fans etc.... And then you can form your own team with other players online and play as single player for this team....

Oh god why don't konami hire geniuses like me to work for them?

lol.. yeah.. they should make a game called 'Pro Evolution Crowd' with a training mode where you learn aiming and throwing objects on to players plus ability to jump naked onto the pitch, pulling ronnies hair, running away from security vs..:D.. (6) :fool:

Spectator Mode .... WOOT WOOT WOOT ! Been asking for this for years and now its finally here, which just goes to prove that Good Things DO come to those who Wait.

This is gonna revolutionise PES this year , theres nothing more entertaining than having a load of you on Teamspeak and taking the piss out of your mates as they fluff 6yrd sitters.

This will be the first time I play PES/WE online (just got a decent connection at home) and I have a sinking feeling I will turn out to be considerably more limited a player than I think. I already fear for my soon-to-be shattered ego.

Samatic, I'd be happy to try an on-line game with you to try out the Oceania/Europe lag or lack thereof. Who knows, maybe I can improve your view on Europeans... some of us are actually good people, although I must admit many slip to the git side at some point, as opposed to Australians. I'm not being sarcastic; I've honestly never met an Australian person I didn't like immensely.

...what? Some peoples deserve having their posteriors kissed and I'm not ashamed of adoring Auzzies. Good, barbequeing, beer-drinking, cork-hat wearing people, the lot of them...
